So I want to get an idea of the expected population distribution of the game by measuring the population distribution of people repeatedly clicking refresh in MWO general.

This won't be completely accurate but we can still get a vague kinda jist of how things are going to go.

Meta Game reminder

Discounts look like they might be like:

Marik - Cicada, Centurion, Hunchback and the Awesome
Liao - Raven, Catapult, Cataphract
Kurita - Jenner, Dragon, Atlas
Steiner - Commando, Hunchback, Atlas
Davion - Centurion, Atlas
FRR - An impending sense of doom.

The benefit to being in a House is apparently going to a be that when you have high loyalty with House you can get increasing discounts on things like the House related Mechs and bonus's like an xp bonus.

Mercenary Companies apparently are restricted from getting the good contracts for planetary occupation matches unless they have high loyalty with a House. (which House the loyalty is from could affect what part of the Periphery you can prowl)

Lone Wolves apparently can collect all the loyalty they want but don't get any bonus's from it.

Im Steiner all the way, with Davion a close second.
Somewhere in my TT-box I must still have a metall Steiner-Fist pin and of course a set of Steiner dice, where the six shows the fist instead.

Was going to go lone wolf but then thought of the clan invasion and what will happen to the FRR. Plus knowing how much they hate mercs after the Ronin wars, I'm not content to just help them as a lone wolf. So here I am.

At this point since I don't know much about the houses other then then what's readily known, going lone wolf. When I find a faction that I have things in common with, that is when I pick a side.

i always was on the sides of the clans since the days of mw2/netmech so it's hard for me to get in the groove of the inner sphere houses. If all else fails, and i'll be joining which ever house is in the most need of good pilots.

Since i'm still undecided on the matter i think it would be best for me to play as a lone wolf. If the option to join a house or a merc corp does come up in the future i might decide to change then.

Im going Lone Wolf all the way, for RP reasons from the good old days of Mechwarrior...

I really hope PGI implements some kind of Merc Boards where one can post as a Hired Gun :P

Now I gotta plan my Budget for July 17 Beta (60$) on top of a new X52 Pro (if the game is as good as I hope it will be...)
