Since this thread got revived, I have to edit it:

Since playing a good 100 matches I've settled in a place where, surprisingly, I still see plenty of premades but I don't get rolled anymore. So I'm happy, I think probably I was artificially inflated because I was using the splatcat almost exclusively for the month of February because I was trying to generate rage for it (See: My other thread on this topic)

How is being the filler in a pre made sammich going for you? Just game the system like everyone else does, do your best to loose until you are in the bracket you want to be in.

After enough soul crushing defeats, your elo will be so low you wont have to battle pre-mades ever again.

What the gold-brains said.

You just need to lose a ton of matches until things get more comfortable for you; but you shouldn't see this as a punishment or chore - think of it as an opportunity instead: now is the time to grind XP for your Spiders, Commandos, Cicadas, Centurions and Awesomes if you have them.

That's actually really helpful, didn't think of it that way. The problem is once I get down to "no more premades" I way outclass your standard other solo guy, and it's right back to no fun stomping.

Guess I'll have to play with other people, which honestly won't be too bad.

Depends on how they actually coded their ELO engine but right now it sounds like people are suffering from low populations and/or pretty wild swings in ELO. Once there's a bigger group of players online and more distribution of ELO that kind of thing may change.

Will be interesting to me to see if I can get to the point tonight that a solo-drop puts me on a team with people who don't rush off alone and get ganked though.

Your Light and Assault Elo scores are in the 98th percentile. AKA you are going to be matched against the best players.

Is there going to be a way to see where you are in the ELO scoring?

Perhaps to figure out how you are doing and learn what chassis you need to improve in in comparison to the community?

Oooh, tell me mine! I can't get into a match - haven't gotten into one yet, trying both Spiders and Centurions, so perhaps there's something up with my Elo score? :)

PSA: Elo is a man's last name, not an acronym.

This true, or are you trolling him?

I'd love to know where I am in the ELO bracket.

As far as i can tell, it isnt something we have access to, right?

Yeah, and how exactly does that justify incredibad scores his team has? I thought elo was supposed to match up best vs best, not 1 good 7 atrocious vs 8 best.

/sighs/ Bryan, don't do this.

Now, everyone is going to want to know their % Elo ranking which will lead to the expected idiotic Elo-gaming behavior that keeping Elo HIDDEN was supposed to help avoid.

Remember this thread?? https://mwomercs.com...den-from-users/

Stop screwing yourself.
