I haven't been getting spot assists either. It comes and goes at random.

I call shenanigans on this entire tournament. So much stuff went wrong it's now essentially meaningless.

Guys calm the hell down. There are 2 choices

1. They think this will be a fun tournament seeing how everyone does playing solo in a team game.

2. The are speeding up the ELO seeding process.

Thats ALL this is. The higher players are just putting themselves into higher brackets the lower players will drop down, we will start seeing even matches.

Try looking behind the curtain.

Idea's turned itself out. I was planning to have some fun, but instead will find another occupation for this weekend. PUG games are at their most awful right now.

The whole ELO system seems bunk to me, I just had 489 dmg, 3 kills, 2 assists, capped 5 areas and got a whopping 54 game rating....wth is up with that?!? And i did that in a fraking LIGHT mech!!!

It's nothing but a bunch of sync droppers, hackers, and cheese builds running around cheating their way into the leader boards.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. "Hey!" says PGI, "why don't you spend the next 72 hours playing our game endlessly to try and win a worthless banner for our game! Sorry if you don't have a unit willing to sync drop 20+ people at a time to try and boost scores, or you don't feel like using nothing but cheese builds, because you won't win! Forget your jobs, families, friends, and personal hygiene, just play MWO night and day until Sunday night that chance at what basically amounts to nothing!"

Let's not take into account individual player skill, lets just say whoever wastes the most time playing this weekend gets recognition for having no life! Way to support the community in a positive way PGI!

I also love how PGI decided to host this little "tournament of cheese" immediately after ruining a number of privately run campaigns and tournaments that they were FULLY AWARE OF when they implemented these new matchmaking systems. "Say now" says PGI again, "It's not like full 8 man drops were hurting anyone by sync dropping, but screw it! Lets mess with it anyway! I mean, it's not like they can ask for a refund on all the money the spent on our founder's packs and MC! We already got their support and money, who cares what our most loyal players want! All we care about is attracting more suckers who will spend their parents hard earned paychecks on MC!"

If PGI gave even the slightest care about the opportunity they have to make something truly memorable, amazing, and most importantly will stand the test of time, this game would already be 100x better. Unfortunately, they see this as a business opportunity ONLY, and give zero ***** about what their supporters actually want. Instead of developing more weapon systems and modules, they spend time making more MC only purchasable items for your cockpit. Instead of introducing more chassis, they decide to release Hero Mechs that cost $15-$25 dollars a piece! Instead of working to counter the hacks and cheats that people have already found and very commonly use to exploit the game, they put together new UI's for the Mechbay that doesn't even correct any of the big problems people have with the Mechbay!

Open your eyes people, PGI is playing you like a bunch of fools, and the sheep that blindly follow their every word like they are the video game Messiah are only feeding the problem. Stop letting them get away with this crap and demand to get the game they promised!

c)Cheese builds ... l2p . It is a tournament. Of course only the most skilled and best mechs are able to win this.

I'm sorry, but are you ********? PGI has already admitted that there are multiple hacks and exploits out for the game already. Armor hacks and aimbots are already out there. Hell, the goons were flooding the NGNG podcast chat room a week or so ago with links and info on how to use them!

Also, cheese builds do not equal "most skilled". It doesn't take a lot of "skill" to run around with a full SRM6 catapult, or just pop tart with a Cataphract with PPC's. It DOES however, allow low skilled players to abuse the system to win a ******** tournament that PGI set up to distract players from realizing that they don't give a damn about this game as an artistic creation, but only on how to more efficiently take people's money from them.

Well a quick look at the leader board seems to indicate that the hacksters are at it early on!! Hopefully this will goad PGI to actually do something against the aim bot and armor hacks that seem to be available. Of course it could be that some people are just very, very, very, very good...............

Hah, your hilarious. I actually took the time to create well rounded min/maxed builds that work in a variety of competitive play styles. Not just "run as fast as I can at the enemy and pew pew until one of us explodes."

I, as well as a vast majority of players, are a part of this community to be competitive team based players. Unfortunately, PGI doesn't care about their most loyal and oldest fan base, all they care about is your money.

No im one of those team orientated competitive players that build a min/max style of mech that fits with our style of play and that can use his own credit card for MC if he so chooses.

Ive been playing MW sense Aol pay to play days 95' 96,and just as with every other game the HACKERS destroy the player base and the game goes under.

It sadens me that this too will happen with MWO. The way I see it all the players at the top of this tourny will be the ones to look at for hacking, 16 man drops so forth and so on. Im sure there will be a select few that actualy do not hack that will also be up there.

With that said i wont enter just for that reason. Hacking kills games................
