I've been running this stalker for about a week now and I was looking for an opinion on it

6x medium pulse lasers
2 S$M 4's 2 tons ammo
2 LRM 5's 2 tons ammo
22 DHS
300 standard fusion engine for 57.2 kph

Personally I'd dislike needing to be within 360m to use my energy weapons, given that streaks are 270m range that just leaves 2 LRM 5's for longer range.

My current & planned stalker builds are in my sig, none use pulse lasers though (which I find to run to hot to be worth changing from normal lasers, and even then I only fire lasers as a last resort! they are so inefficient heat-wise!)

Lately im having allot of succes with the XL310 engine + 4LL 2LPL Yes it overheats if your not carefull but packs one hell of an punch without having to rely on missiles or ammo thus maximazing profits. and the 310XL gives it an decent speed. and the range aint bad either...

Its a bit of an Niche build, but it works really well with popping Medium cockpits

I dislike XL engines on Stalkers. Except perhaps on long-range ones (LRM or PPC boats).

I find MPL are too hot and generally ML + LL will be better.
