Pretty sure mine didn't fall into any of those:

Have you considered (or tested) having the beam duration on lasers controlled by the pilot? i.e. while they hold the button the laser fires (up to the maximum duration), but as soon as they release it stops and begins it's cool down cycle. Obviously there would have to be a minimum cool down time to prevent machine gunning them, but otherwise it seems like a more logical way to fire lasers, and would add some additional dynamics to the game that could be fun.

Maybe it's too long and I should have just stopped at the end of the first question mark? :)

Cutting off at the question mark may have helped. Not sure if it may have been counted as a "Leading Question". But, there is a discription of what one is in the link.

Sounds more like what pulse lasers are meant to do already...

I haven't seen this since I took my class for web design. It's code for web pages.

Why would you want to face an enemy with an identical loadout. It would be like a Chess Match. Unless, that is exactly the reason for wanting it. To have the match based completely on skill. Like the IROC racing. Were everyone uses a duplicate of the same car.

Will there ever be a map with no gravity so players can fly around and shoot each other?

Most of us have seen the screen shots of people using things like 'AimBot'; What steps are being taken to keep players "Honest", and not use client side mods/cheats?
A: We are tracking most of the common hacks and cheats, suspending or banning those caught. Some of the more complex hacks are very difficult to completely remove or block, so we are taking a different approach. We are working towards having more CR and social tools for players to help us track down and eliminate these offenders.

Most devs in other games claim that there is no hacking in their games.
Thanks for the honest answere.

They keep going on about a Solaris expansion. I'd definitely like to know more about this.

Thanks for the feedback. I realize you do respond to most of our requests (most of the patches attest to that).
However, it's good to have a Q and A as you have posted. It is great to see people we play with in MWO have their questions posted and answered.

I think I'm going to join the contingent of would-be-players who just check the patch notes every couple of weeks to see if ECM finally got fixed. The majority of the community doesn't like it. And despite the logic and evidence, we haven't even been afforded an official position on the subject.

Theyre not gonna "fix" ecm. why? ITS FINE! l2play lawls

No answers concerning balance or ECM, as usual. I'll hold back my surprise.

that first poll shows kinda the opposite when you take a few basic human behavior concepts into account. People who have no reason to complain about anything in game dont visit the forums that much. People who do have problems/issues always visit the forums. Taking that into account, a 50/50 result it already heavily bias towards the dislike side, so it just goes to prove the overall majority of players either like or dont mind ECM.
