Phoenix Hawk IIC (4) and Goshawk (3) are two my favorite chassis. As soon as Clans roll in, I'll by few of them from Diamond Sharks.

I never played TT, so I only have the video games to go on
The Timber Wolf is the "face of the franchise" for me (maybe because I started out in MW2 ).

I do really like the version of the Hellhound in MW4:Mercs tho, it looks all buisness with the hunched over shape and shoulder mounted weapons. I know it looks nothing like the original (unseen?) design, but I hope it finds its way into MWO
