The Steel Battalion VT controller.

Sure it takes special drivers and adapters to even use it, but its amazing none the less!

If anyone has not seen it yet, I have already made a request for this in the suggestions forums. If it did get full support (million to one) it would be an unparalleled controller.

I've got the Logitech Wingman Extreme and used it sometimes in MW4 but I really enjoy mouse play.

Sidewinders just seem to be made for games like mechwarrior. I need to dig out my old sidewinder and sidewinder force feedback 2 sticks. I just hope they work.

I have used the Belkin Nostromo N52te for about 3 years now, it was weird getting used to at first. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. Back when I was a kid playing the original mechwarriors I used the wingman xtreme, but now I love my nostromo.

X52 user here. It is overkill, but at the same time, it is awesome. And the mapping program really is quite simple to use.
HOTAS is the way forward...but I also have an old cyborg stick that was excellent also.

Mouse and keyboard is what I use, and always worked best for me. in MW4V and its sequels, it was always easiest for me to use the mouse for torso twist and the keyboard to navigate my direction of travel. by using the mouse to control the torso twist, i could change my direction by turning while keeping my crosshairs on the target and introducing myself by high calibur messenger pigeon.

I prefer the mouse/keyboard combo myself.

But I do appreciate the sense of immersion when playing with a stick. If its truly supported, I just might get one for this game.

Saitek x52 user here as well. Once you go with a throttle control on your right hand it is hard to go back. I have always gone with Saitek though so it is what I am comfy with.

I used both a sidewinder and a wingman extreme back in the day. Both are long gone, however. Curious about how this will play with an XBox 360 controller, though.

The Saitek Cyborg USB Gold is my favorite joystick of all time. Sadly, mine is no more. I'll probably go with an x52 HOTAS setup, or an F.L.Y 5 with a nostromo.

I'm still using my old Sidewinder FF2. Best joystick i ever used. just wish someone would come up with some updated drivers so i can adjust the ff strength on the stick in win7. default is too weak.

and left turn capability

edit: also the the logiwing man (i think) is the same stick but wired and has 2 more buttons.. at about 25 bucks it makes a cheap replacement during times of need.. i think the last 2.4 i bought.. (yea like 10 yrs ago) was like 65 dollars and i would use up about 3 per yr. and probably throw in a few emergency wingmans.

that gets expensive real quick.. so if your balking about the price of a new flightstick keep in mind u get what u pay for.
