I actually have the same problem on my laptop. When you pop out of a match, the window drops down into my task bar. And it effectively blocks the MC/C-Bill/Social Tab until i drag it back up.

It is a bit annoying when coupled with the already terribad social tab.

What monitor/resolution setup causes this? I agree that the mechlab/social tab front end to MWO is pretty bad. I can't understand why they have it shift screen modes like that. I can't think of one online game with a similar setup, MWO is unique in this regard.

Yeah to be honest there is no reason they should've disabled maximize. It's just a launch screen.

1366 x 768 is the resolution I think. Don't quote me till I get home.

But he's runnin 720HD which should be a very compatible resolution.

true 720 is 1024x720. this tv i use had a weird 720 spec. it has to be 1024x768, 1280x768 or 1366x768. i only use 1280x768 as its the most compatible for most games. this also has nothing to do with just adding the function of maximizing into the windows code.

I have a great idea! Instead of emailing support with a well though-out and detailed message explaining the circumstances, issues seen, what attempts have been done to fix the problem on the user side, and providing screen shots, we should all [REDACTED]

Then post in the feedback forum. Complaining and ranting with an apparent (note apparent) lack of though just earns you ridicule.

As to your final comment, I get that, but you just went on a whiny, demanding rant. And as a reference English is my third language.

Weren't you the guy who was whinging about mismatching inflections between Greek and Latin in the plural spelling of 'Atlas,' just last night? Is it then such a horrible thing for the folks on an English-speaking forum to request proper English from your posts here?

And throwing tantrums never helps.

Edit: For spelling and grammar.

its a very simple fix. just change the windows code for maximize from false to ture. its not like i am complaining at all. why not troll the count less posts about splatcats and ecm. just want a simple bug fix. before you trolls say its not a bug, or it doesnt happen to me so worry about something else. what do you think bugs are, small % of people with different setups which the game doesnt behavior right. i know for a fact they wouldnt program this in, the bug is just annoying. dont know any company who would want to bug their paying customers.

Please don't change it, it is very convenient to be able to see other applications while waiting, for example the online mechlab or the latest QQ threads in the forum.

Lets see... let's complain about UI being not full screen when they have already stated they are getting close to rolling out UI 2.0.

"It's an easy fix..." --- A phrase every dev chringes at when joe blow says it.

You have no idea the fallout a simple change can introduce into a system.

At the moment, your options are:

1) Go full screenw ith alt-enter. I think I've got auto-hotkey working for this as well to automate it
2) Change your native resolution
3) Play something else until this issue is addressed to your satisfaction

Pick one.

The fact that you assume there isn't some underlying reason it is configured the way it is shows you have no idea what you're talking about. Quit barking.

And yes, I can bitflip a boolean.

THIS ^^^.

The windowed Mechlab is actually really handy, as I can check on other stuff easily in between matches.
Hopefully any fixes PGI implements for this "issues" allows for the option to keep it in a window.
