I have made the screenshots through splitscreen due to lack of any fancy software like Fraps to make a screenshot directly from the game. I had Paint opened up in the background, so it filled the rest of the screen instead of desktop on the picture.

Simply put (because I'm really bad at explaining things properly):
If mechlab was fullscreen, there would be no Paint in the picture.

Adridos, Alt + Printscreen (screenshot active window only) works in the mechlab. Go to imgur and press ctrl+v on the homepage and it will paste your clipboard straight to an image. No paint or filesaving needed.

Hi, I'm Koniving from the Zhizhu Mercenary Corporation, which is a mercenary group with some fanon lore-friendly ties to Liao.

Normally I don't lurk these threads, however I was curious about Liao colors since I'm making a youtube series on various battlemechs, and want to mostly feature footage of mechs with Liao colors due to the ties associated in the group's lore, as the videos are meant to have a lore friendly feel to them in the form of "Get to know battlemechs," threat assessment briefings, and training information for new recruits that are soon to pilot battlemechs for the first time. Naturally with the tie, most of the footage would either be battleground footage, propaganda footage from Liao, etc. Especially when it comes to mechs of Liao-origin such as the Cataphract.

Now, for the other reason I'm here; I'm quoting these colors because they are very similar to the chosen colors for Zhizhu's "Elites," the Jade Dragons.




Though one of us later made this comparison.


Since I'm picking up Liao colors, I thought it fair to share some shots of ours so you may recognize us on the field.

The regulars use these colors.



Although we almost always use the colors, we do not have a set camo pattern. We're mercenaries after all, so individual pilots have their preferences. We're known for assigning escorts to larger mechs, and when pugging with lights or mediums of certain qualifications, may randomly escort larger mechs.






In groups we run in lances of three to four, which will suit the upcoming 12 man system quite nicely.


All shots were taken without modifying the user.cfg file. We lower the brightness by 5, raise the contrast by 5, and raise the saturation by 5. These are simple things that can be done without a tax on performance by adjusting your monitor, or the graphics card's settings. We hope that PGI will allow us to touch the ingame sliders soon.


Although not featured here, we found both "Shiny" versions and "Weathered" versions of our paintjobs in MWO's vast selection of colors. It was quite nice.

Hope to see you on the field, preferably on our side and with cbills in hand.

I wouldn't want you to be on the other side.
