Are hitboxes messed up on the 4X as well? Because I seem to be taking my fair share of damage in mine when the 3Ls are shooting at me, and I've pretty much resigned to that I'm done for if I get into a fight with a 3L away from my team, even a damaged one.

Well, the easy way to test would be to take one, throw in the largest engine and full armor, and then shoot lasers at it.
It could be that the hitbox issue only shows up near the Raven-3L speed cap and the other variants don't go fast enough.

Unfortunately I don't have the cbills to do that just yet (I recently spent a million or so kitting out my 4X with the best equipment I could get). I'll have to save up for a bit. I will try the thing with legging 3Ls though, I hadn't known that the hitboxes were correct for any part of them.

I don't want any "Hi, I'm downloading some torrents and playing with my 3L with the lag shield" -guys to be playing MWO. If some guy has too high ping (which should be rare: if the ISP has problem or he really is causing it by himself) he gets kicked from current game and the matchmaking searches a new one or so.

i saw a raven in game today, i prayed to god for help, he tried but the raven just crucified him came and ate me afterwards :)
