Oh god, yes, give me headlights - I would even like FLOODLIGHTS mounted on my chassi since the nightvission is so extremely green.
We have better nightvision TODAY and even with a technological dark age they should be able to do better.

Everyone would buy it just to stomp the everliving s**t out of Raven 3Ls.
Over 3 months of frustration dealing with Raven 3Ls would get a lot of people to open their wallets to ridding the battlefields of that abomination forever.

There would be much wailing and gnashing of teeth, no doubt, but not to that degree. Honestly, I suspect if anyone did ragequit it would be someone who's never spent a dime on this game and probably never would.

are you even LOOKING at the picture?
there are 4.
i cant explain it any more clearly than to say USE YOUR EYES TO LOOK AT THE PICTURE AND THEN USE YOUR BRAIN TO COUNT
this is how you count:
first comes 1,
then 2
then 3
then 4
that is the order of numbers.
now, if you look at the picture, there are VERY CLEARLY 4 red circular things that we here in the mechwarrior universe call "energy hardpoints"
thus,
there are 4 energy hardpoints and anyone posting that they see 3 should shoot themselves. seriously.
edit: and yes, the yellow objects look like missle hardpoints to me. could be wrong, but there's absolutely no way i am wrong about the energy hardpoints. ive been both using my eyes and counting for 28 years and i never knew it was such a difficult thing to do for so many people.

They wouldn't be ragequitting due to Pay to Win. They'd be rage quitting over the current broken combination of ECM+Streaks+Armor+High speed.

Actually it's assumed there's a fourth E hard point because the edge of the arm mount is visible for the other side, yet only 3 "red circular things" are visible on the picture.

They have been doing "quirks" for mechs
Pretty Baby and Awesomes got quirks in same patch
Centurions got quirks in a patch with no hero mechs, also I think Trebs already have quirks?
Cicada X-5 + Cicada quirks for March 5th?
It's also possible they will introduce another Cicada variant that has missile hard points so that X-5 isn't the only one. Also possible X-5 wont have ECM and instead its selling point will be SO MANY HARDPOINTS. Either way I am excited as I was considering getting into Cicadas.
If I may ask, what other two Cicada variants are fun to level?

None of the Cicada variants had missiles. Ever. Ironically the Strider OmniMech based off the Cicada has missiles in ALL of its standard configurations.

2A (6 energy) and 2B (5 energy)

Cicada-2A. 6 energy slots. Load them with 6 MLs for quite a bit of versatile firepower, or turn your mech into a sauna with the powerful yet extremely hot combination of 6 MPLs.
Cicada-3M. Yes, it has ECM. It's got one ballistic slot, but the most fun I've had with it doesn't use it. 2LLs+2MLs has done decently well and I've actually had some success with 2PPCs+TAG as a mobile ECM'd sniper.
The 2B has 5 energy slots to the 2A's 6, but 2 of them are in each arm. Worthwhile trade? For many, yeah.
The infamous 3C has 4 ballistic slots that it cannot fill with anything except MGs unless it makes crippling sacrifices. Still, if that sweet MG firing sound appeals to you and if you don't mind being quite ineffective it might be up your alley.

Awww, should we even have LBX-10 then?
According to Sarna the LB-X 10 was (re)developed in the IS in 3035.
However, I must note that the Clans have access to all of them already so if and when they show up they'll be bringing them over.
