I can spot 3 energy hard points so far (LT, RT, RA). There's a pretty good chance of there being another energy point in the LA. I dunno what those "headlight" things are, maybe missile ports (1 hardpoint per side torso with 2 tubes each?)? Maybe they might also be laser ports, but they definitely are not ballistic.
Personally, I strongly suspect that those yellow structures are indeed missile racks (especially with how the presence of the bisecting groove makes them resemble the missiles shown in the concept art for the
Atlas,
Commando,
Stalker,
Trebuchet, and
Highlander).
As it happens, a 4-energy, 2-missile
Cicada would mirror - and could possibly have been inspired by - the "D" configuration of the
Strider(which is, itself, the OmniMech version of the
Cicada).
"Meant for close combat, the
Strider D carries
a pair of Streak SRM-2 launchers as its primary weaponry. These are backed up by
a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers and
a single Small Laser. The D configuration also carries a comprehensive electronics warfare package with a Beagle Active Probe to allow it to find hidden units,
a TAG laser designator to call in Arrow IV artillery and Semi-Guided LRM fire, and a C3 Slave unit to share targeting data with allied units."
Though, the placement of the X-5's gear is obviously different from that of the
Strider D, and the resemblance to a similar-and-related 'Mech could just be coincidence...?
