No, it's not, the founder's mechs are reskinned primary variants. The hero mechs are seperate variants(Different hardpoint configurations).

It is unlikely that it will have ECM. If it has ECM then the forums will be up in arms about p2w, if it does not it is just a slightly different Cicada, for those that like the Cicada but also wish to use missiles.

Those are clearly a pair of 2 tube missile launchers.

It is not clear if the left arm has an energy slot. We are looking at 3 energy 2 missile at the very least. Interesting but nothing stellar.


I don't think there is a snowballs chance in hell that the mech will have ECM. If it did though, they would eat Raven 3Ls for breakfast in hilarious fashion.

If it comes with ECM that would make it a 40 ton Raven 3L.

Cicada's not a light mech, streak bombardments are the purview of ECM Ravens and Commandos and either can outmaneuver a 'cada, and the Cicada's that you don't pay $15 for aren't very popular.

Uhhh. If it really has missile hardpoint it might become my first hero mech. Becose I love Cicadas. And having one that can pack 2 SRM 6 would be pure awesomeness. 4 SL + 2 SRM6 XL 340. 150 kph with speed tweak. That sounds like a ride for me.

Hero mechs are unique varients in themselves, the founders atlas is a ugly remodel/reskin of a Atlas-D, with a minor cbill boost compared to a hero mech.

if it did in fact have ecm and 2 missle points, it would NOT eat the 3L like everyone believes, not any more than another 3L would really. it would have an advantage yes, but not one that a good 3L pilot (yes they exist beyond the cheese pilots that rely on the mech to do all the work) can't overcome. it would be a slightly heavier version of the same mech, more compact and a bigger target, but possibly having one extra laser hardpoint.
if it doesnt have ECM then its a glorified Jenner-D without jumpjets but with the weight to make more use of the hardpoints

Which is exactly why we won't see a hunchy, atlas, cat, or jenner hero for a while.

You can stop asking, really please stop, they are going to release Hero mechs for chassis that don;t have a "special" version so that they can get people into those chassis as well.
