My opinion was smart-assed-ly stating "I think you're reading into it to much".

I think its lame that we've not had any new concept art in 2 months as well.

Though given how the Orion turned out, I'm a bit apprehensive.

Shame too, probably my favorite ride in Battletech. Others are thrilled by it, me not so much. I think the cockpit is just wrong and too large, throwing off the "scale" of the mech making it look like a 50-tonner. The choice to go with the SRM4 in the torso is also disappointing. For us old-timers, its in the LA and always has been for the ON1-K. Typo-crit sheets be damned. The fact the CBT PTB keep F-ing it up is puzzling. Only hope is the in-game model looks better. But I digress.

First of i like the idea that Alex would be in any way unhappy that his work is not seen... 96% of all concept art is never seen outside of the studio afaik(unless you are blizzard and sell it in a book form for a big sack of money).

Secondly even if the art is done, the marketing department is the ones that say when and where stuff shoudl go out for maximum impact. ( just look at the PCGamer/highlander snafu ) and as i said before my guess is that they will push the clan stuff next. So in order to build some buzz the hold off on the concept art for a longer amount of time so that when the new stuff comes out the impact will be that much bigger. especially as the casual crowd are more familiar with the clan mechs then the IC mechs.
