What's With Lag And Aiming?

I am usually having a ping of around 80-90ms.
Since patch before last one it moved to 120-160ms, and became unstable more often than not, sometimes moving to 190-200ms.
And on top of that, my aiming is completely off. When i am shooting, i see that i am hitting where i am aiming, while my teammates which are spectating say that i am missing completely and that my reticule is apsolutely off target.
It feels like shooting a rifle with sights calibrated badly.
It also results in lower damage output just like i am indeed missing my target a lot, despite fact that hits are registered and i see that i am hitting what i am shooting at.

Done, killed two Ravens in under 30 seconds w/ 3ML 1AC/10 (Founders Hunch). First was a side torso kill, second was an AC/10 to an orange internal backside (that I had put there).
Avg ping: 67ms. 1/10th of an inch leading.

I am a light mech (jenner, no 3l for me) pilot for long time and this really messes my mechs usefulness. Primarily not because higher but because unstable ping and secondary because mech doesnt carry great firepower so precise strikes are a must.

That's because the lag shield fix that went in, made it so the lag is only affected by your own ping. Not other peoples. So with those pings you can pretty much always correctly hit people with 250 ping, but on their screen the server might not be getting them updates fast enough, so it is you who lags on their screen.

Well, I've always resigned myself to play MWO with a disadvantage due to latency.

Thats when the server is registering a hit. At least, thats how it is supposed to work.
I've had times where Im aiming at a mech just over a ridge, on my screen my lasers are hitting the ridge not the mech, yet the aimer goes red......
Sooooooo, im not 100% sure what is going on there but I would say my view was a few seconds behind, and to the server my laser actually fired OVER the ridge, not into it...
State-rewind should help a lot here if all goes well.
