Hi all,

first of all those guys have to earn money to keep the game running.

While you pay for WOW and other games a month even to be able to play, we don't have to pay anything here, we can if we want to. But why should we? I'm sure while a lot of people are playing most of them don't pay though.

Of course one is maybe a lite f*****. I just grinded togheter an AS7-D and an AS7-D-DC. While now grinding for a third variant to get the elite skills unlocked. Now I can buy another AS7-D sell it and take the CB to not have to grind further, if I want to.

I like this game very much, because I've been waiting for such a game since 1993, when I read my first BattleTech novel and played BattleTech games on my Amiga 500. For me it would be very sad if this game gets stuck in beta phase just because they do not earn enough money (like it seemed to bee in Jumgate Evolution, which I'v been wating for also).

Though, the producers of the game have to listen to those people, which are/get annoyed, sad etc. because it sounds for me, that a lot of them, are founders, so people which are mit MW Online from the first hour, (I've not been, because I heard about the game in November 2012) and if guys like theese get annoyed, they should check this, because it seems, that those guys get more and more and, if so, the producers maybe should check, why those people get more and more(annoyed).

We should appreciate, that those guys adhere to their plan, not to do a pay for win game. This would really pay of for them, at least for a short period of time, while it would destroy the game on the long run. But again, they have to find a reasonable compromise for earning ther salary like we all have.

Kind Regards

Ed Ward

Hi All

Sorry if this was answered already, i didnt see it in the previous comments. This sale being on trial mechs does that mean i cant buy one of them and customize it with a different loadout and heat sinks etc.

If so then please advise which one you would recommend, I am thinking of the catapult, but mya use my MC on a hero or other mech ( I already own ye-lo-wang and pretty baby) thanks and hope to fight you soon :-)

Peter Hoff

My understanding from the blurb is that they are just like any other mech you own, fully customizable.

we had a premium time sale too.. 7 day premium was like 40% off during the medium mech madness or whatever sale.

hmm but it a trick to make you activate all your premiun time. In my last f2p BSGO. Each booster was separate. Meaning if i bought a 24hr xp/mining{cbills here) booster, I can active that one and not burn the rest when I did not have time to play.
This sale my work for some but for most it a non starter. Hell even if i did not have 80mil in cbills, Would not buy. The mc prices are just not in line with other F2P, More cost by average of 2 to 2.5 more. So the sale price is about the normal price. Hell most have a $1.99 mc/whatever name every few week and they be purchased like hot cakes. YES $1.99 paypal special not 19.99.

The only thing I have against this sale ...

is that I wish that were any other Atlas.

No, no. Not because the AS7-D sucks, but because I already have my Founder's Atlas, which is an AS7-D. :)

Nice, been wanting an Atlas D and Cat K2 for a while. Takes MUCH less time to earn fifteen bucks than 15 million cbills.

You can say that again. I feel the same way. Haven't started playing either of them yet, but I enjoy building/tweaking with C-bills much more than saving/buying with C-bills. Invariably, I'll get some variants (haha, see what I did there?) and play them out...having too much fun with cataphracts and awesomes atm.

I would like a good sale, please? Not an attempt at a cash grab on mechs that we can already get with C-bills..

To be more constructive: Give me hero mech sales, MC sales, premium time sales, paint and camo sales, mech bay sales, or even homigosh, a free mech bay with purchase of hero variant.

EDIT: Maybe if posts like these get enough likes PGI might consider them.

Actually, what'd be really cool is if people realized that F2P games aren't Free to Make. I'm content with the fact that this game isn't pay to win (like lots of newer F2P games are, Ex: Bullet Run, which is now non existent). They give you 4 mech bays to start, which is fairly generous for somebody not supporting the game. Things like extra mech bays, paint, etc, aren't necessary to help you win. They're there for people who are willing to pay for it, and are by not means necessary. IMO, PGI has done a pretty decent job as far as this stuff is concerned, and they could probably do without more people begging for free stuff.

Let the flaming begin.

Perhaps to stimulate the marketplace sufficiently, have an empty chassis sale??? From this, players could tailor mechs to their own play style at a lower overall cost??

Just out of curiosity, do you actually sell any of the mechs for MC when they are for sale for c-bills?

I did 640 mc for a cicada, not bad at all.

Especially the mech bay included with every purchase.

I find it ridiculous you have to pay even more for an additional mech bay if you don’t have an extra one available for your new mech purchase. That’s just ******* greedy...

Well now they have so far had a discount, on the Wang. Earning C-bills isn't that hard, but they are letting us play a game for free. They are attempting to lead us into putting a couple bucks in their pockets so they can keep letting us play this great game for free. They have had paint sales already though, as well as a sale on a mech skin pattern. As for the sale on mech bays, really 300 MC is to rich for your blood?

Now on the other hand I do agree with the idea, of getting a free set of mech bays with buying a HERO mech. Founder mechs can't be sold, and came with their own mech bays... why not do something similar with HERO mechs? A bay though, ONLY for the use of your HERO mech... again just like the Founder varients.

-As for the greedy part, perhaps it isn't so much of them being greedy, as it is so many players being stingy/frugal/cheap....?-

Picked up the K2, may pick up the Atlas D as well, but still debating that. I've avoided Assault class mechs so far and if I did Atlases, I'd do the D-DC, RS, and a hero Atlas if one is released. So the D would be somewhat wasted, I think. Would appreciate opinions on that.

Like the rest of you, would really like to see a proper MC sale. :)

got the Atlas D, so I can upgrade to elite. its a good mech, but is more of a giant uber urbie. hope there will be urban type maps like Big city in Mw4, where this mech would shine!

I love the fire sales, but I have one piece of constructive criticism:

Hook it up man. You know what I mean.

I've put more money on my Visa card for MWO than any other two premier games combined. I've done it for MWO and because I want to support this awesome game.

But cmon fellas, hook it up. Give us double MC days or something. Don't go cheap on us. We've got modules to grind.

But regardless, tons o' love and support. Loving the game so far.

I picked up the K2 and realized why it is so OP. Besides having nice slots and the space for huge ballistic gunz, it also has a crazy awesome torso twist degree!

What I would spend MC for/like to see:
event: 50% off of Hero mechs (only own the Ilya)
event: 50% of MC prices
always: generally lower prices (like 50% on every mech) would make the decision not always go like "its too expensive, i will get it with CBills".

If mechs would be 50% or less, i would get me a lot more with MC, but so, i spend MC on 2 mechs only (1 hero) so far and got only GXP, Mechbays and a few paints so far.

I have to say
all of you who are whinging about prices of MC or asking for this and that for cheaper prices are bunch of cheapskates.
its OK for you to go out and buy a crap iPhone 5 for like $900 just because its fab to do so but you wont spend few bucks to help the developers to make the game you like playing ?????hmmmmmmm.
if you currently don't like the economy of the game then go and play your dumb IPhone games and stop giving crap to the people who are working so freaking hard to bring us our dreams come true.
