Yes but your making too much logical sense compared to BT :). Its like the Hunch's big gun, you could almost make the same arguement that it should be seperate fromt the torso but thats just not how it works. While the Warhammer does have that protruding missile pod (plus searchlight on the other shoulder) it is considered part of that torso section. The Mad Cat/Timber Wolf's missile pods will be part of the right/left torso's, otherwise you would have to basically cut those sections in half in terms of crit space and armor (otherwise it gets a boost in armor protection).

I think if thats the case even though they are part of the Side torso i would like them part of my arm just to cause less damage to critical parts especially since you can blast those ears over a hill without targeting the rest of the mech

The word you're looking for is Doomsayer.

Take it from me I'm a wordsmith, that's my day job.

No, I am equating Norris J Pacard to a politcal leader trying to use emotions and rhetoric to appeal to his audience in his apocalyptic thread. While yes he is a doomsayer, as you say, I believe demagogue still applies as was my intent (minus the atrocious spelling).

To what end? And how exactly is that allowing him to amass power?

Well, I am pretty charismatic.

I think. Doesn't charismatic mean rich?

Not amass power, popularity! To what end, you'd have to ask him. He is quite nefarious. (Conspiracies after all, right?)

Doesn't that make Hawkeye 72 a demagogue as well?

You're still using the word wrong though.

Yes? And no, its fine - he very well could be raising an army to take over PGI and make the game his way. YOU DON'T KNOW. DEMAGOGUE!!

Yeah, no that would be a revolutionary leader or a military coup. A demagogue generally employs decidedly political means.

First let me direct you to post #1993492 where this Mr.Packard states that he clearly has a bigger, wider plan for the change of MWO. Is this the first hints of his plot to take over, perhaps through "decidedly political" means? Perhaps, through stoking the flames of nerd rage throughout the forum community, he will then attempt to direct that rage to force PGI to hire him as Executive Producer. There is no way of knowing but all evidence points to yes.

It's a good conspiracy theory, 7/10.

Still not up there with Brithers, Truthers, Flat Earthers and Creationists.

The fact that there are simultaneously two highly popular threads claiming exactly opposite things makes me feel pretty good about the state of this game, to be honest. Community split is always healthy, believe it or not.

At least it is alive :)

But I don't think that PGI will annonce the clans this month.

But he is right that the ISN News feed was really dead this month.

Hence the term "conspiracy" up there with the likes of Roswell, JFK, Bigfoot, etc.

But you were also not present for last spring, and are thus unaware to an extent of what I referenced

Ahh yes , the comstar terminal , the roundhouse and of course Nubnub.

Hawkeye you were right on it then and I'll bet you're right on it now. (had the whole community going crazy)

A corner of a roundhouse was a crazy place to be in deed.

Do you think we can make the Comstar watch list again.

Keep poking the Bear. :) :)

Random note: I just read this for the first time not an hour ago. First BT book I'm reading :)

I'd 1st read the 3 part "Warrior Trilogy" which sets a LOT of the tone and base characters for the rest of the fiction. Or, really start at the beginning....."Decision at Thunder Rift", "Mercenary's Star", "The Price of Glory" and if you have the funds "The Sword and the Dagger" (good luck on this one, as I tried for what seems 20 years to get my hands on this book but never really wanted to pay the prices asked) all of which predate the 4th Succession War (the "Sword" is the underlying reason for that entire war......)

use wikipedia to help keep the books in chronological order as sometimes that jump back and 4th in the time line
