50,000K for every 50 damage you do to a friendly.

too much? no. People will learn not to shoot their teammates really fast when killing a teammate costs them 500,000 cbills.

Good, when you run into my enemy fire because you were careless and take a double alpha in your *** will you give me your money then? After all, it was YOUR fault for running straight into my line of fire?

I didnt think so...

Think of ALL consequences an idea entails before posting.

Worse still.

Get killed by someone in the last match? Run in front of him next time he's on your team!

This suggested system is one of the most griefable ones imaginable.

Seriously, people need to chill. I've met some great guys through accidental friendly fire. If I ever TK or if I cause team damage that isn't in the heat of combat, I always try to apologize.

When I TK someone entirely due an error in my judgement, I usually apologize, usually with a four letter word infront of it. (my favorite one at that begins with a F)

Now if I TK someone because, someone was being an ***** and face humping an enemy and not letting anyone else take the shot without risking of TKing him? Ole Big Bore just might end up rear CTing said person, that or the SRM will. I try very hard to not face hump. Sometimes it's not preventable at all, and I can understand that. But when I watch someone face hump, over and over again, I just say screw it and let the bullets, lasers and rockets fly, come what may.

Hang on...

1. You get shot.
2. You shoot back

You see this as perfectly fine, you do not claim that you are overly sensitive for returning fire.

3. They shoot back

At this point you claim there is an issue, which rests solely with the other person?

He did exactly what you did!

Chances are he shot at nothing and, on his screen, hit nothing (me and my brother go through this while on VOIP often, we shoot near each other and sometimes the person shooting sees no hit and the person in front takes damage) and then you turned around and shot him.

As far as he is concerned *you* are the one who started the team damage, on his screen his shots missed. Therefore, by your own logic, he is well within his rights to shoot you back and you should just take your lumps.

No.

How difficult is it to turn around and fire AWAY from friendlies to test weapon groups? If youre just messing about and wildly shooting Hills and snow, expect return fire from most.

Yeah because I can just see friendlies bothering to run infront of their teammates to force costs onto them...we dont exactly drop vs or with the same people that often, I rarely see the same people 2-3 matches in a row, if ever, only in 8 mans, in which TKs shouldnt be a worry.

Sorry but I disagree, I very very rarely hit my own teammates, I based my suggestion on over 2,500 games of my own played in which only a meager 2-3 of all those games have resulted in me killing someone by accident, in which case I can still live with the penalties I suggested.

And if your teammates are dashing in front of you, well, you should watch your shots more or position yourself better. generally, there is very little excuse for hitting or killing your teammates, and blaming someone else for stepping infront of your shots is just pushing the blame onto someone else for your own mistakes. Sure, it can happen on occasion, but if people are "constantly" stepping infront of your shots, then your shots are not well placed, nor is your positioning of much value to your team.

That's a terrible idea, honestly.

I generally ignore FF at the start of a round unless it was clearly intentional. Regardless of what I'm piloting people tend to get the message when I slow down, turn and stare at them for a few seconds. The more paranoid among them may keep firing, afraid I'll start, but well... That's when I decide it was intentional.

Says the guy willing to kill anyone that so much as scrapes him. Your pride, it hurts, I know. You'll make it through this.
