it's gotten 29% of the vote, out of 3 choices. seems like a pretty respectable contender to me

The UAC5 got a significant share of votes for sure. I based my conclusion on "other" getting 32% and more than UAC5. If I ran the poll with all ballistic options specifically listed, gauss would win, UAC5 would probably get second most votes, and AC20 would probably get third. I didn't do that because I didn't anticipate so many people would vote for other guns like AC20 and AC10. I didn't expected the "other" category to do so well, thinking that the numbers and versatility just support gauss rifle and UAC5 well above all else. The votes clearly show that 32% of people don't feel that way.

Concerning Jagermech and 4xUAC5, I'll certainly try to build it. I built a Muromets with triple gauss and it was badly broken. I built a Cicada 3C with 4xAC2's and it was moderately broken (not as bad as triple gauss Ilya). My math for the 4xUAC5 Jager is that I can easily build a phract 4x with dual UAC5 and dual AC5. The only thing stopping quad UAC5 on the 4X is the critical space slot shortage by one in each arm. Otherwise, it's doable but slow (like all 4X's.) It sounds like there may be a 5 ton weight difference between Phract and Jager, which would be a problem.
