hey NRP; i tried like 50 builds with my 9m, no joke.
i desperately tried to boat 3 er PPC, but it only works with a ton of heatsinks if you don't equip any other weapons;
try this build if you can:

to solve all my problems i swapped one of the 3 ERPPC with a regular PPC.
i just shoot the 2 ER at range and then the 3 up close; the laser is for spam when running hot but the missiles are really what cements it. you could do 10 missiles but i cut a lot of armor off the legs to go 12
standard engine leaves you with 2 srm4 on the body and 1 medlaser on head even when side torsos are gone.
took me a while to figure this build out, i was feeling very dissapointed with many of the builds i tried
if it's too hot you could get rid of the medlas or change the arm srm4 for an srm2

I've been struggling on the 9M as well lately. I just can't find a build that's "comfortable". I'm rebuilding now to something similar to what you've posted, only downgrading the PPCs to LLs and using the free weight to add more heat sinks and armor (and moving back to XL). I've had a LOT of "hit registration" issues with PPCs lately (and SRMs too for that matter) anyways, so at least with LLs you know what you're getting. They're not devastating, but with 3 of them, you WILL put a dent in your targets when you think you've hit them. I love the PPC's mechanics, but I'm just tired of knowing I blasted something with 2-3 of them squarely and not having any damage reflected from the blow.
