HSR looks aweome though, will reduce my ping "variance" from 270-330ms to 0-50ms, probably averaging around 20-30ms variance which falls pretty well within my own aiming "variance" when trying to shoot

Bad move PGI, very bad move. But I guess people will not stop playing - they don't have the guts to create a thread where the'll list their names with note that they will not play this game anymore until flush gets removed. So you're fine, PGI. Keep rolling!

Personaly i think this game desparately needs new modes some really simple ones but at least something, bashing each other in 2 modes which are basicaly both same over and over in this type of game is really boring and it dont encourage to buying new mechs and mech bays atm. More role modes would be nice. Like one team defending other attacking or anything like that or ViP rescue or something. I suspect in CW most of missions will be like this so would be also nice to start to educate people for it.
To consumable items i really hope they all will be buyable thru CB otherwise its not really fair play. Hero mechs are allready sorta p2w.

I wonder if this was the scenario:
2pm: Hey guys what do we think on this consumables idea?
I dont know, we are all on the fence about it, lets drop it on the forums and see how the playerbase reacts.
*post*
(Insert nuclear explosion here)
5pm: Lets try to clarify a bit and see how it goes overnight,..
(Nuclear war continues, planets explode)
8am: Meby that wasn't such a good idea...
9am: Eh they will still buy it, where else they gonna go?
As you can see Im not ok with this, but its the mech assault thing all over again. and that makes me sad. I dont want to play a game because thats my only option, now that LL is pretty much on its death bed...
Its like selling drugs to addicts.
No good PGI
no good at all.

That patch sounds awesome.
Pilots, grab your heatwest shoulder your neurohelmet and launch your engines.
"Reactor online! Sensors Online! Weapons Online! All systems nominal!"
Grab your mech and go on the "firing range" (testeing grounds). Even if you are already a bullet proved veteran and you know how to survive a battle. Start your reactor and see where the weak spots of the different mechs are. Where the cockpit of an AS7 is to find. Where the LT and RT of Jenner could be...and so on.
Holy c r a p! (sorry ^^ ) I can't wait till the patch is ready to be installed.
The consumables...hmm somehow I'm still a bit sceptical about that but only because I see it coming that I won't have enough Cbills left to buy me my next mechs *hrhr* and I am too avaricious to buy them with MC (mostly ^^ )
The idea is great and I think the consumables will be first be 100% effectiv as soon as the community warfare will start. Now in the beginning it will be nice and ok but really effectivly used first when the warfare starts...
A new map. Yeahaaa. It's going to make daka daka daka daka all night long! *g* (I only hope river city night won't be my most choosen map for a while now ^^ )
User stats....
One word for all of you: YES!
Even if it's not important to see how good you are at this or that as long as your team wins a match but it's good to know to see where you could improve yourself a bit.
Joysticks:
Hmm sorry guys I don't use Joysticks so I can't say much about it but I'm glad to hear that for those who use a joystick are improvements made.
Mechlab UI
I'm interested to see it for myself.
The community events were fun and I'm happy to see that there will be more coming...even if I can't join them all I think ^^
Performance...hell damn...my lag shield is gone (I hope ^^ )
So the announcement sounds great and I hope there will not too many issues coming with it so that we could enjoy the good work of the devs and if there might be some small issues I hope they will be fixec fast enough.

I'd be lying if I said the nature of the "consumables" didn't concern me. Why did you bother pull repair/rearm if we are (likely) going to need to buy new modules to be ready for every competitive match? Bit of a P2W appearance, too...
As for the controls, more throttle options, face to torso (yay!!!!), and better peripheral support is always good. But the whole lock-arms-to-torso really just seems like an admission that convergence hasn't worked at all to combat boating, besides making a handful of chassis preferable to use as boats.
And really, a ******* coolant flush? For ****'s sake... add that to the pop-tart snipers and array of PPC/Gauss alpha-sniper builds et al... was there a conscious point when a decision was made to stop trying to develop a "new" MW game and just recreate MW4's cheese with a buggier graphics engine?

But i trust that PGI will make it work, and i won't say anything bad about those before i actually played with them.

Learn to play noob. And learn to build a balanced mech ... NOOB.
I really hope that we will NEVER get to choose the map or mech . And I hope that the Devs will ENFORCE that players can't delete mapfiles or change the user.cfg so that they don't have to play certain maps.

Testing Ground - Yay!
New Map - Yay!
More Stats - Yay!
More Controls - Yay!
UI improvements - Yay!
More Events - Yay!
HSR - Yay!
I am happy to see so many improvments coming this month!
Consumables - ???
Coolant Flush - Nay!
Air Strike - ?
Arti Strike - ?
Coolant Flush is a step to unbalance the game even more toward those who have already much.
Pilot Skills give most benefits to those who have the biggest engines and the most heatsinks.
Now Coolant Flush (which is an abdomination of a game mechanic) gives even more to those who have most (heatsinks).
PGI you are in danger to damage the game balance seriously using such a way of handling benefits based on percentage values as it forces everyone to build templates that get the most out of such a system of advantages.
Also its clearly a first slight step toward a p2w direction that not gets my support!
If you need to make more money find other incentives to do so!
If you want to make more money step back from that one!
Air and Arti Strike will depend on implementation - it will be a task tough enough to balance...
