Sorry to interrupt all the name calling and whatnot, but I have a question about this "savior bonus". Does anyone know how it will actually work? Does this mean if I pump a shot into a spider with a blown JJ I will immediately become worth more points to the enemy for the rest of the round? Or do I actually have to be physically in the act of attacking the enemy? That is, am I only worth the points while my lasers are firing, or my missles/projectiles are in the air on their way to the target? Or do I have to have him (only?) target locked?

Savior Kills: Upon killing an enemy Mech. If that enemy had been attacking a teammate who has a critical component that is 50% health or lower within the last 10 seconds you will be awarded 7500CBills, and 150XP.

It sounds like the majority of the posters are misinterpreting what the OP meant. There is a difference between focus firing down an enemy and then there's purposely hiding and waiting until both the enemy and teammate is almost dead and then firing to get the last money shot kill.
It does not help your team to purposely leave your buddy hanging, not firing a single shot so that you can "save ammo" and not take any damage, and then jump in for that final killshot.
Agreed, I had already typed this before I read yours, so I'll just paste it here.
I'm not concerned about "kill stealing" where someone else in the fight get's the kill shot. But I think the Op has a point as it applies to something I'll call for purposes of this conversation "kill sniping." I'm referring to the guys that are hiding behind the hill, preserving their KDR until a target is near dead and then popping up to take the kill shot before hiding again. Since having teammates get beat up before killing their attacker is the primary way to earn this award, then this is exactly the type of behavior it could encourage.
