I love the new sound, but to make it perfect, my cockpit should shake and my HUD should dim to indicate that my medium lasers are recharged!

Hearing the youtube videos, I was prepared for the worst. But in game? They really don't bother me at all, and I kinda like 'em.

You mean the silence right? They aren't particularly bright here abouts so it helps to be specific.

Was talking about the transformer-like recharge sound pre-patch...liked that better than the current one. Have to agree it sounds somewhat "cheap" as it is now...dunno.

Please change the sound, it doesn't really go together with the other great sounds this game has. Sounds more like something out of a 80's mecha anime.

I'm one who doesn't post complaints but this one I wll have to offer my critique. The sound is in a nice way not good. The old one was much better.

If you feel the need to change the from the old can we get something that might come from the gut. Something sounding a little more hunk and mechanical.

Agreed with every word. I do not use 'Mechs with lasers any more. A1 cat is my favorite 'Mech for now, just becouse it has no lasers.
Been waiting for next patch (or, maybe, mini-patch), which (I hope) remove this ugly noise.

I gotta admit... its pretty bad. I literally went WTF when I first heard it.

Where are they getting these samples? The dollar store?

Agreed. Remove the laser siren please.

It was not in the patch notes is not needed.
I believe there was a more subtle sound before for laser recharge. Rollback please.

Agree. Could they at least lift the sound effects off Star Trek next time?

While on the topic of mute: Can we mute "Warning: Targeted" ?
I am a human pinball in the cabin by the time she finishes...although if you cycle targets long enough it would probably annoy your opponent more.
...I long for a mod to replace that female voice with the one from Unreal Tournament 2k4. You KNOW the one I mean.
