I would say it usually seems fine but there has been a couple of times where I wonder if something wasn't working right. Like one time in a Raven I was fighting a YLW and all of a sudden my leg blew up. I think he only fired his AC20 at it since I didn't see any lasers or anything else fired. Now the AC20 is powerful but I had very very little damage done to my legs so I don't think 1 AC20 shot would of done that.

Yeah, at least the Light pilots have to. Well, except the Raven pilots. The Raven still laughs and doesn't care.

While I am adapting...how do you guys defend your bases from being capped now that you die in 2 hits? Speaking of PUG play ofc. My guess is I just have to be lucky to do it? Weaving in and out gets your base capped pretty fast and waiting for that Fatlas to come back to the base is...let's say not so practical. Requires good coordination now.

I've been torn apart several times by missile barrages while in my jenner that appear to be 30yds (as it appears on my screen) or so away from me.... I will experienced no screen shake to indicate impacts, the missiles appear to have been far away and then all of a sudden I have NO armor anymore, just like I took all the LRMs to the face. If it were my fault... well I can deal with that, I stood there and got hammered to death by LRMs... dummy. Every time this has happened to me post patch, I was under the distinct impression (because the missiles were way off to my left or right) that I was clear of the incoming LRMs.

Try scouting instead of brawling. It works better that way. Light mechs are no longer small balls of death. You should pilot a light mech like it's a light mech.

I haven't noticed any real difference in how quickly I get killed, just how quickly I can kill certain enemies. If you drive your mech like it still has a lagshield when it doesn't, you will die quickly.

lol. OP I'm sorry but there's not really a netcode change they could have made that would make missed shots hit you by mistake consistently. You are just getting zapped and you might need to change your dodging/play style.

Do you mean to tell me that light mechs can no longer just run around the legs of larger Mechs like a swarm of gnats and almost never take damage while slowly burning away people's armour?

This is unacceptable.

As a Jenner Pilot I can say: I have Problem with State Rewind.
But I can see that some light Pilots are blown up very quickly, maybe this are the Pilots who counted on their Lagshield to survive.
Now runnig in a straigth Line is something very stupid and there is no Lagshield protecting you from Harm.

Thank you for telling me what I did or did not see. I fully understand what the patch notes say, what effects the code changes actually had or not have yet to be fully documented.

All I said was "post patch". Since I have no idea how the programming aspect of this whole things works I can only report what I experience. Whether or not this issue is directly linked to the server rewind thing or not is far from my field of expertise.

Lights were being used as brawlers.. Man when did that happen.. I've always been a strafe'r / skirmisher... Occasionally I'd stop and slam someone in the back as a surprise too..

It works.. If u have the skill.. Fast and dodgy is easy for me.. IN WoT i've been told hitting my scout is like trying to shoot a jackrabbit on crack. I was just out in my 2D for some 8 man the other day.. Went down as the last man often, and with some of the best dmg numbers.. I had one 3L who was sketchy about trying to engage me cuz i was nice and slippery.

The key is random movements, never drive in one line too long if u can help it.. Circles can easily mean the death of you.. why. for 2 parts of the circle u are either moving toward or away from a third person for a short period of time. During this period u are very shootable and it can be very preditcable.

run thru it ducking dodging and weaving. shoot at whatever happens to be in front of u at the time.. This has the added benifit of distracting more enemys from your frindlys.. only dig into one particular target if most of the enemys focused somewhere else.. helps if its someone at the rear of thier formation..

I've been killed so fast at times by lrms, before i have a chance to take 2 steps, then i looked at log and noticed i was hit with a bunch of other stuff, but it all registered at once. It wasn't an alpha strike by another mech, it was few mech's firing, but it was like i was on a delay. My fps was in the 30s to 40s, my ping was 24ms to 40ms. This has been happening alot over the last few days. Just seems they fix the net code, then they use this state of rewind just to **** it up again for some of its other users. Would be nice if we had a slider bar to turn on or off that state of rewind :P)
