Well i would say its mostly the ELO the problem. I m good but for sure, i m aint an expert in MW Universe.

I don t know....it seem like my ELO is far more to the elite team, than what i can handle.... I m aint good like them and i still get into these high ELO teams. And most of the time, i either crash or go to desktop and when that i come back....i m dead. Pretty bad for the stat (specially the last example) and frustrating. Or when your game crash and you find out that it count as a death in the stat....doesnt help too.

Sure someone that want to disconnect by clicking disconnect (at the start of the game)....should count as a death. But crash and etc....should simply remove the mech from the game. (suggestion)

My K/D ratio is kinda good...far on green too...but for sure far from the best players here.

So i still wonder why my ELO make me go with those human machines...since i m not lol :S

Torso hardpoints should be fixed to straight forward and only arms should be able to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. However, arms should not be able to wield all the heaviest and longest range weapons. After these changes torso weapons (heavy sniper weapons) are harder to hit with and the damage caused will spread around target body parts and fights last longer without doubling armour.

They would just need to add some serious drawbacks to ride the red heat line all the time... so the alphaspam would be over.

Why can i aim perfectly when my mech screems for shutdown already?
why can i move top speed and torso twist top speed when every electronic device should already start to melt by the heat ?
why do my systems all work perfectly in heat levels they simply cannot handle?

The mehc fight lenght was always dictated by the fact that an alpha strike was a big risk to you own mech. But since the heat system as it is, is not more than a small annoyance....

So please dont saddle up the horse from behind.
The way they improve netcode and stuff, they need to improve the heat system as well.

I like this approach the most, too. Would help on more than just this aspect of the game. For example risk of ammo explosions when in forced shutdown, or constant damage to internal structure when you are longer than 1 second over 80% heat.

Up play the heat system risks?

Enjoy complaining about ballistic boaters fire 3 more alphas over energy boats {the awesome would be royally screwed} and the gauss sniper is OP qqers just like poptarts are being complained about now. jagers becoming op fotm and k2 gauss kittys return as being heavily complained about. The dominant builds are always changing {laser stalker was laughed at then state rewind and artemis missle bugs change the ratio and make them only usable op mechs} and changes always happen whilst PGI continues to try building the game amongst "balancing" it to silence the whine.

I said it before so here it is in simple form. There is no equality in this arms race and competative players will always flock to the top builds, there can be only one on top. Enjoy META cause that's ONLINE GAMING!

it's not about which build is OP. its about the combat speed in general. You can tone down everything while still keeping the OP builds and the perfect imbalance.

I don't think doubling armour is necessary. The problem is really that doubling armour was never the right solution to deal with mouse/pinpoint aiming. Shifting armour ratios (and perhaps then doubling armour) would have been. CT needs a bigger boost than side torsos and legs, and side torsos and legs needed a bigger boost then arms.

Maybe they should remove the doubling of arm internal armour, and instead increase leg and side torso armour by 25 %, and head and center torso internal armour by 50 %.

Then there was some reason to shoot off arms or side torsos instead of going for the CT. And crit-seeking might actually become somewhat more useful when shooting at side torsos and center torso... (though I am pessimistic on that one.)

Thank you, that was actually a very good post, summarized the whole thing.

Again I say to all those who complain about boats, drop with actual teammates and you will have no problems. Boats are the easy pickings. So please, stop qqing and doing nothing about it.
