Perhaps a PGI artist can write a mini "Color and shading as it relates to mech appearance and general artistic style" article. That would be sweet, actually.

N00bgreen is the best camo, because it confuses people into thinking you're a new player.

To counter this:
Premium Colours means you have more money than sense, and may be driving in gold vision mode.

My mechs use the free PC Gamer colours (shades of black / white / red).

Colors in MW:O are also the best example of how other people are content in MMOs...

If only we would be able to press a button in game and the game would create a file that you can use to repeat the match from any angle, centered around your mech. How awesome would that be!
Perhaps we would even be able to set certain camera angles and positions/movements at certain time intervals so we could make truly epic video's showing off both our shinies and piloting skills. ;)

One is allowed to have dreams, right? ;)

A match replay type thing?

I'd love that. ;)

For me, until they implement a 3rd person view SO THAT I can see my camo, I'm not wasting MC or C-bills on it. I want to be able to see my mech in it's camo pattern, and look at it while in game, because frankly, I don't care how it looks to other players, only myself.

All of my mechs are painted, but I don't have a whole lot of colors. Mostly just use the free PC gamer colors, Phranken, or the desert / winter camo colors.

state your reasons here.

basic Camos are just 12 games worth of c-bills
100,000 per match

AHEM....COLORS not CAMO PATTERNS cost Cbills.

First time I played my AS-7-D in Union Jack colours, there was another Atlas in exactly the same paintjob.

Ergo: I think maybe paintschemes have been disabled until they're fixed.

nonono i just want to know why people don't want to buy colors
Because the millions of c-bills required for even basic colors could instead go to new mech chassis/engines/weapons?

Edited to repair autocorrect mangling.

Last time I played with colors and patterns, the only differance was in a few tiny spots on the mech...that was right after they were introduced so not sure if its been fixed...if it has I'll color em up

It's not that I don't necessarily want other color patterns -- I just have other things to purchase with my cBills first.

The Pay'n'Spray is last on my list.

Still true on Founder and Hero Mechs, but not (ever?) on regular mechs.
