I would rather see it return in the form of a "status icon," similar to that under the cover of ECM or being Jammed. (I'd like to see that for a missile lock as well, actually.)

I always seemed to get targeted once... and thereafter every time I targeted the person (even if they had no line of sight to me...) I would get the warning.

I don't need it. Too much handholding and kills the role of scouts that actually scout for information.
