LRMs are OP vs stupid people, and nearly useless against good pilots.

It is for that reason, however, that they need to be tweaked. Anything that accentuates the gulf between the good pilots and the bad pilots is bad for the game. We need lots of bad pilots to play and buy bobbleheads and paint for their Mechs. If we constantly destroy them with LRMs they'll stop playing and PGI won't be able to continue development.

i like you let's team up my LRM thirsts for moar QQ's

the jaggermech seems to love eating and dying to LRMS so that is probably partially it, but missiles in general seem to be a little off right now :(

Tell me one other weapon that makes you hold a lock for 13sec to get a max range hit with it?

Tell me one other weapon capable of indirect fire.

I do not dislike LRMs at all, in fact I don't even bother running AMS on many builds because cover (almost) always is enough. However, since the last patch the game has been unplayable due to LRMs. Cover is no longer effective enough since 1-2 volleys will destroy most mechs with fresh armor. Sure some mechs run 4x15, but the point is the same.

Basically, LRMs were fine how they were before this patch (in my eyes) since you could play smart and avoid them. Currently that is not true.
