Right now, there really aren't any good candidates, except the Atlas or the Hunchback, and those have Founders variants, so supposedly they won't see a Hero mech before the other mechs have them first. Also, we just got an Assault class hero mech the month before last, so I doubt it'd be a Stalker next. And if it was, I'd probably have zero interest in it. I don't play Stalkers now and I don't see that changing unless it's got ECM, jumpjets, a wicked paint scheme, and all the armor/equipment upgrades, lol.
I really want to see a pair of Zeus X-variant hero mechs like the Leonidas and the Stacy, but that requires the standard Zeus chassis and variants appear first, so that's likely a ways off.
I could see a Spider as a possibility since that chassis is somewhat underutilized (because the hardpoints kind of suck), and a Hero mech for it would certainly engage a lot of people, both for the relatively low cost of entry, and the appeal of a potentially more viable Spider variant. Right now, there's the ECM variant, and the rest I don't know much about other than the one that was a trial variant and went on sale so I picked it up 'just because' but haven't put much time into it because the hardpoints suck and it doesn't have ECM to make up for that. =P
