If its a stalker, it MUST have an "overly attached GF" theme.

And lots of places to stick TAG and Narc D:

In May, the hero mech of the month will be called the "X-Stalker". Its camo color is hot pink, and you can't miss it on the battlefield. It carries up to a 400 rated engine, so it can get very close and personal to you AND has 6 missile hardpoints (most missile hardpoints for an assault mech) and watch the fireworks when the pilot is pissed. It is an exceptional assault mech that hides behind cover and strikes you when you least expect it, even if you have a court ordered injunction.

Yea, it could happen.

A Hero-Stalker with a torso twist angle of ~85° would be the only mech I would buy for MC at this time.
One can always hope, but I don't expect anything other than a medium/scout mech... *sigh*

I think they will stay away from Hero versions of the first four, just to avoid us Founders complaining. :)

I think the next Hero assault will be a Highlander.

If I remember correctly, they have said that we will eventually get Hero Mechs for the Jenner, Hunch, Catapult and Atlas but not until the other mechs have Hero versions first. Of course plans can change.

In order of my uniformed but usually right predictions:

1) Stalker
2) Jager Mech
3) Spider

It could be 1 or 2 first, but it won't be 3 first.

Why are your opinions wearing uniforms? Just kinky that way? :)

:D

Right now, there really aren't any good candidates, except the Atlas or the Hunchback, and those have Founders variants, so supposedly they won't see a Hero mech before the other mechs have them first. Also, we just got an Assault class hero mech the month before last, so I doubt it'd be a Stalker next. And if it was, I'd probably have zero interest in it. I don't play Stalkers now and I don't see that changing unless it's got ECM, jumpjets, a wicked paint scheme, and all the armor/equipment upgrades, lol. :)

I really want to see a pair of Zeus X-variant hero mechs like the Leonidas and the Stacy, but that requires the standard Zeus chassis and variants appear first, so that's likely a ways off. :D

I could see a Spider as a possibility since that chassis is somewhat underutilized (because the hardpoints kind of suck), and a Hero mech for it would certainly engage a lot of people, both for the relatively low cost of entry, and the appeal of a potentially more viable Spider variant. Right now, there's the ECM variant, and the rest I don't know much about other than the one that was a trial variant and went on sale so I picked it up 'just because' but haven't put much time into it because the hardpoints suck and it doesn't have ECM to make up for that. =P

A hero bucket based on the... 8B I believe. I know that's a future variant but 2 energy slots in each arm + 2(or 1) missile bay per torso + the ability to mount a 350xl.... mmm hmmmm

I would like to see a hero mech with some 4SP style hardpoints, I'd have a new ride if that were the case.

If a Hero Raven is released and its any good, it will ENCOURAGE 3L users, because it will make it easier to grind up to Elite...

Anyway, I'm hoping for... lets see.... a Hero Atlas, with 4x the armor and four ballistic hardpoints (LA, LT, RT, RA).

Step 1: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Annihilator
Step 2: Glue 12 Commandos of whatever variant to the outside of it for the additional 300% armor.
Step 3: ?????
Step 4: Profit!

Yeah, I'd trade my Jupiter in for an Annihilator in a New York minute.

I don't see why they should stay away from the initial four.. the founder mechs share at best ONE thing with hero-mechs and that is that they have a special perma-skin.

They do not have
30% C-Bill bonus
Different hardpoint layout
Their own set of tweaks
They can not be bought

So as long as they do not sell the specific founders mechs i do not see why people should be upset... And as far as i care they could sell the (F) mechs too. My Jenner have served me well but i am not that attached to being a special snow-flake.

But that is just my opinion.

I have post the link here for this suggestion since my OP is in the Fan Art area. But since the Dev's have indicated that they are open to this idea from the Ask the Dev's 29A here it is.
I'm still looking for a good paint/cammo for it along with finishing out/fine tuning the load out so feel free to suggest away and with any luck maybe this could be the first community suggested Hero Mech to hit MWO.
Thanks!

Well, it is Heavy Mech Month. And it's not like the Founder Cat's paint job and nose cone make it a unique hero varient.

Still, the Stalker and Raven seem like the front runners.

I don't see any methods to their hero mech release. They triple tapped Heavies, only have one light and one assault, and just released a medium. Personally, I hope for a light, but they haven't shown even a hint of a rotation or cycle for this.

M (Wang),H (Ilya), 2xH (FnF), L (DK), A (PB), and M (X5).

There just isn't enough data to predict any cycle, and too many weird artifacts, like the Gemini dragons. H seems likely because it has been the longest weight class without one- light and assault share precedence because there are flat out fewer hero variants for their weight class. Medium seems unlikely, but even 2 Trebs or Hunchbacks would fit their current 'pattern'.
