It's going to be the JagerMech.

I am inclined to agree.

Heck the only way it would be anything else is if they switched the scheduled around. (Ok it could be a Cat but that is very unlikely due to the whole hero mech thing...)

I'm pretty sure we won't see a Hero in the Founder's 'Mech chassis. That said, it would be neat to have J. Elliot Jamison Stalker from Zeta Battalion of Wolf's Dragoons as a hero 'mech. It would probably be a non-assault chassis though. The Spider, Trebuchet, and/or the Jagermech would be prime candidates imho.

If a Hero Raven is released and its any good, it will ENCOURAGE 3L users, because it will make it easier to grind up to Elite...

Anyway, I'm hoping for... lets see.... a Hero Atlas, with 4x the armor and four ballistic hardpoints (LA, LT, RT, RA).

i support an atlas with side torso energies

It is going to be a light, or an assault.

If an assault i say stalker, as the atlas is a founders mech and we already have a pretty baby hero.
If a light i say raven OR spider, as the jenner is a founders mech and we already have a Deaths Knell hero.

Current heroes:

Light: 2 (Death's Knell, Jenner-D (F))
Medium: 3 (Yen-Lo-Wang, X-5, HBK-4G(F))
Heavy: 4 (Flame, Fang, Ilya Muromets, CPLT-C1(F))
Assault: 2 (Pretty Baby, Atlas-D(F))

So you could guess that it'd be a Light or Assault. Rumour has it that the Highlander is the next mech to arrive, so if you assume that they won't release two assaults in the same month then it'll be a Light mech. Which leaves the Spider or the Raven. I wouldn't like to see either of those as heroes, frankly - Spiders are crap and everyone is aware of the issues with Ravens.

The founder mechs are NOT hero mechs.. they are founders mechs...As i noted earlier the only thing they actually share with the hero mechs is that they have a perma skin.

They have a different C-Bill bonus. They do no have the unique hardpoint system of hero mechs ... and they are not for sale... That being said i think they will save those for last so to speak so only once the other mechs have heroes they will get theirs.

I doubt the next will be a light mech. Because the X-5, while technically a medium, behave like a light.

Besides, a hero light without ECM wouldn't have much success, while a heavy or assault probably would, and PGI might want to avoid pouring more oil into the fire until they got ECM rebalanced.

I hope for a Stalker, with 85% torsos twist if possible. I do not dare hope for a Stalker with a ballistic mount or two.

I think they will stay away from Hero versions of the first four, just to avoid us Founders complaining.

why would founders complain?
i'd understand slight complaining if they implemented a jenner/hunchback/catapult/atlas hero mech with the chassis modification that is unique to the founder mechs (like the catapult's ******)
but a hero mech in general? what are founders? little spoiled brats that couldn't stand the thought of anyone else having a similar toy? you already have 4 mech chassis that no one else will ever have xD

and founder mechs are something totally different from hero mechs
founder mechs: unique model/unique paintjob/exact hardpoint layout like the "prime"-non founder variant/25% cbill boost/impossible to get after operation inception (the founder program)
hero: unique paintjob/unique hardpoint layout/30% cbill boost/mostly standard chassis-model

i'd personally would wish for a catapult hero
but i guess it will be a spider

Guys..there is a system in releases...

Light
Medium
Heavy
Assault

We had Assault -> Pretty Baby. After that it started from the beginning.
We had the light -> DeathKnell.
We had the Mediums -> X5

So...what do you think we will get? Hmmm? Correct, applaus...a Heavy.

(and to whomever said we had like 3 Heros on Heavy...its basicaly correct, just dont forget that both Dragons count as one release (twins)).

So...catapult or Jagermech...what do you say?

Theres a photo that shows 2 hero assault mechs so it could be a assault. I don't remember where to look for it though so I can't quote it.

Edit: Nvm found it

EDIT #2: Actually bad news... there IS a spot for it to scroll down for another mech but you can actually do that right now and it's just a black space. So false alarm! Sorry guys!

Maybe the Jagermechs Hero version... The Jagermeister, standing on a hill, looking somewhat bigger then he is...he could be mistaken for an assault

Haha :) Well check out my edit. Thats the picture, if you look at the scroll bar it can be scrolled down one more mech. Also it's sorted by weight class.

Hmm that makes the stalker most likely.

Looking forward to it

I went for what everyone was saying in another thread without checking myself. I just checked to confirm if the image is actual proof and it's actually false since you can scroll down right now another mech but nothing will be there. So it may most likely not be a assault though it would be great if it was lol.

Well, I am going with a Hero Spider.
Make it so it has 1 Balliistc point in the CT and the first ever Mech HTH weapon, a Bite that poisons the target's coolant system.
