Something is certainly broken with LRMs.

On top of that, I seemingly just got nuked through a building on upper city. Not only did I get nuked from 100% to 0% in a full health heavy, I got hit impossibly.


This need's hotfixing.

This is like death from above Artemis bad.

Missiles actually do damage to legs as they were doing a fraction before this patch. However, there's a splash damage bug that, for example, makes SRM2s do more damage to a Commando's chest up close than a guass rifle hit. Read my sig.

I'd rather they hotfix it instead of waiting 2 weeks if they could. There's going to be a ton of missile spam because of this.

A bunch of us were getting ***** with LRMs for about an hour and then we took the 4 x LRM 15 Awesome... yeah, **** is royally busted. Like... absurdly busted.

Yup, two matches in a row I myself got headshot once and lost both legs in the other from 1 or 2 volleys and watched 2 more headshots and 2 leggings in the same matches. Fix this please.

It is not just the legs, my Cataphract nearly got headshotted (we know how small that head hitbox is) twice in two separate matches, first by LRMs then by Streaks. This never happened after the patch when they fixed the "massive head" syndrome on it.

Ya, your guy was the one I posted about. Gotta break out my LRMs and make ppl cry I guess.

I know, I was the one spotting you for a lot of the time in my Raven. You guys were essentially having happen to you what was happening to us just a few games prior. It's ********. This **** needs a hot fix asap.

Lets make the forums flood with tears. It worked when they first launched Artemis. LRM noobs think they can make LRMs crazy OP and we aren't going to simply use them and keep the r train going.

This is probably the third LRMpocalypse that I've counted now. Every few months they totally mess them up and if you think it's bad now, more people are going to start noticing that they demolish everything, and more people are going to start taking them and then it's really going to snowball. This is unsustainable.

Actually the only thing they should've done with this patch is disabling splash, i see no reason why they have to test it for 2 weeks. I don't think that their software engineers are having a hard time removing a few lines of code, it probably wouldn't mess up anything.

Already happened, I tried logging on for a few games and every one featured mostly LRM boats.

My question is if its so obviouly busted (which it appears to be)... why would they release the patch? Don't they have internal testing?

**** PGI, get some god damned testers who are worth a damn, or if you already have those then get someone in management who actually listens to said testers.

These problems should NOT make it through to production, but they do, every f'n time.
Or I know, how about open a beta TEST server for us to log into to try out your proposed changes. The users seem to notice problems quicker than anyone in your company does. Call me crazy but I know i'm right here.

It's probably bugged, these things happen with patches. You just have to wait for a patch to fix the bug.

Testing is for amateurs, real pros just make changes and expect them to work perfectly.

Just quickly changed over my brawler Stalker 5m to a boat - 3x15 lrms & 2x10 lrms.

Jumped in a pug.

3 kills, 1067 damage, didn't even try, no artemis, not an optimised build, only 1080 missiles on board.

CTs were going from fresh to orange in 1 volley; the 2nd was death. (with massive arm and leg damage to boot)

I guess those first day noobs should have used cover? :rolleyes:
