Jagermech - Effective Builds

Can anyone recall, offhand, a mech that can actually outfit a couple of megashottys and a pair of decent energy weapons in a similar fashion to a Jager without skimping on... well, everything else?

2x Gauss, 2x ERLLas, XL200 and Adv. Zoom mod, macro the Gauss and ERLLas to fire at the same time. The armor is light, so keeping an eye on the map is key, takes a few games to get in the groove.
Enjoy ripping parts off of mechs at 700 meters!

I've noticed this fighting Jagermechs. They're arguably more threatening than an Ilya or Gausskitty or whatever because it's very easy for them to get a clear shot on you.
No, they are threatening because 99% of them are packing AC-40.

it's 6 mg,2er ppc,xl310,endo steel, 6 dbl heat sinks(2 on engine), rest of slots mg ammo, full amor
you have range and punching power, your decently fast and since mg's are on arms, you can shoot at most angles close in. If you heat up, you can just keep the mg's firing, one on one, most of the time, the other mech will overheat while you whittle them down.

Ran XL280, Endo, 13 DHS, 2x PPC, 2x AC2, 4x ML with fairly good success. 300+ damage regularly, currently sitting at >3 K/D.
Switching to 2x PPC, 2x AC5, 2x ML to see how I like that.

I ran a similar thing for a while, but with a LB10-X and 2xSRM6 instead.

My Tbolt with dual AC-2's actually scares people off better because of the hail of bullets that sound awful even though they in reality don't do much damage. Quad AC-2's on a Jager is just laughable for DPS (though it does make people duck for cover), so i tried to create a similar effect while keeping some firepower with this build:

I've noticed that since the machine guns are so long and mean looking when you mount them on the Jager (unlike a spider), people go for that side first (haven't had the AC-20 taken off once yet) then they run when they realize you're not running an XL but still have speed and armor. It's a coring machine with the burst damage of the AC-40 version, but without being slow or having all your firepower in so few places. I started getting around 500-600 dmg per match and living through most of them, unlike with the AC-40.

Engine XL 225 (1 heat sinc required)
Double Heat Sincs
Endosteele
Modules: Adv. Sensor range, Adv. Zoom, and Target Info Gathering.
Armor: 368pts standard
Weapons: 4 ac/5’s Range 620m (40 meters short of a gauss rifle)
Ammo: 7 tons (210 rounds)
Heat Eff: 1.9 (yea 1.9, really)
Rate of fire: 1/1.5 sec= 6 shots every 10 second heat cycle; or 7 with fast fire. That’s 120/140 pts of damage in 10 seconds.
Heat: 7 shots x 1 pt per shot x 4 guns= 28 pts of heat, you gain maybe 10 heat depending on movement and map conditions. Any break in firing and cool down is very fast. I don’t overheat much. When it happens, it’s due to having WAY too much fun.
NO GHOST HEAT. (yet)
This is a no frills killer, money maker, and heart breaker.
I use three weapons tics. 2 buttons with chain fire selected (all 4 ac/5’s).1 button is alpha.
Alt. build: Replace one AC/5 with an AC/2 and two tons of ammo. Allows for long range slapping but drives heat to a 1.5ish range due to RoF. Still better than the quad AC/5 I think.
