I think the majority of us understand the notion that PGI has different people / teams working on different projects (ie: someone creates bobble heads, someone else makes a map, someone works on the geometry of a new mech etc etc). We get that concept. We have dealt with it since closed beta.

But now we find ourselves how ever many months into an open beta that continues to push MC related product on us while major issues are 'worked on' with no real improvements being made.

Where is the end of the tunnel?

When will this game be finished?

Rumors aside (3rd person view, MC ammo, etc etc), I think it's time PGI takes the dozen or so people that work for them and decide if finishing this game within a reasonable time frame is something they can actually accomplish.

Stop trying to balance a game that doesn't need balancing at this stage. Fix mechs after you've made this game playable.

How hard is it to push a UI 2.0 on us?

How hard is it to implement 12 v 12 so your newest maps aren't a waste of 15 minutes?

How hard is it to accept the notion that the community wants to pick its own maps and set the number of pilots used for a particular drop?

Your ELO system is a joke. 6 assaults vs 1 assault every other round is a joke.

You don't have months to fix these issues and progress. Units have been splintering for the last few months and pilots have been leaving their accounts inactive in the droves.

How many more units need to disband until PGI figures out they need to HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO HELP?

Stop hiding behind the PC and give us a projected date of completion, a LEGITIMATE DATE.

Chances are PGI continues to go back on their initial stances taken on touchy subjects but none of that means squat if we continue down this path of perpetual BETA.

No PGI, you won't get everything right and YES you'll tick off people in the process. But for the love of the GENRE, get your act together and finish this game in a timely fashion because in reality you don't have long and MWO could very well be the last time PGI takes on a project solo.

They need something to make any amount of money on whilst they work on it.

Unless of course you think they do not need to eat or have a home.

Unless they suddenly started budgeting for things like $100 toilet seats I'm pretty sure the 5+ million from founders packages could have ridden them until the game went live.

That excuse doesn't fly at this point in the game.

Besides, what does that have to do with GIVING US A COMPLETION DATE?

People get tired of reading complaints, I get it. Some of us get tired of feeling like the community has no voice though.

Which is a shame specially when Devs go out of the way to antagonize people giving feedback.

Remember when Dev implied that people with a large number of posts would be mostly ignored in favor of posters with low postcount?

Or the time they locked and moved EVERY thread related to coolantgate without any kind of filtering.

What?

I hate streaks.

Did it make you laugh?

You should see how I acquired my nice sig. '(^.^)'

Go to the pages 4 - 8, the last thing posted in each topic.

Good place to vent without getting in trouble, and, it's encouraged. As long as you follow the guidelines.

Yes. We understood the meaning behind it but the post was in very poor taste. My guess is someone gets the twitter ban hammer.

yeah if this was not a Triple-A release, Single Player Videogames alone can cost at least 20 Million. MMOs are one of the most expensive games to produce.

that 5 million? Yeah that was just the start-up investment to prove to the banks that PGI "has something people want".

PGI is seriously trying to stretch their dollar as far as it will possibly go... you want them to hurry up and finish the game?
well 'Time is Money' so either Keep playing so PGI can collect Data or start dropping coin so they can hire more people.

well as it goes with F2P games the answer to this question

Quote

When will this game be finished?

is anywhere between tomorow and never
all that you may ask is when X feature will come out but not when game gets "finished"

but i agree with that matchmaking system needs some adjustments... i dont know why it doesnt consider at least total weight of the teams... sometimes its like 700 vs 450...
also yes 12v12 would be really nice for the new maps at least dont know why this hadnt yet kicked in :)

I would love to believe that but considering they were only able to take those founders packages after they had laid out a comprehensive time table with IGP, I can't buy that.

While I agree that great games take a while to make, name another 'AAA' release that mirrors this one? It would have to include micro transactions active from the start of open beta and a bi-monthly patch system that directly relates to said micro transactions.

Again, GIVE US AN UPDATED RELEASE DATE.

What? Come on, you can't possibly believe this. This is also not an MMO. What ARE you smoking?

You also want people to give them more money when they've yet to display that they're efficiently using what they have?

You hit the nail on the head.

Fix and update the basics. Get the game running so the community can immerse itself.

Additional mechs, maps, etc. will always beg questions relating to balance, furthering the need to re-balance. Those issues will always need addressing, post beta or prior.
