i personally wouldnt need 2 tons of ammo for only 1 srm 6, without removing it, if you put in an lrm10 and shave some leg armor, you could put in another medium laser and a bigger engine

streak srms are good against lights, and you said go big or go home with lrms, its also faster

not entirely sure if you should keep bar, it works, but still not sure... lossing it would let you put in an ams with one ton off ammo

Decisions, decisions. Thinking about what you said with sniping and PPCs, I messed around with the stalker a bit. This time took out the SRMs and replaced them with LRM5s, and removed the LLs and replaced them with PPCs. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...4a45cc4b2c6c7ed

I kind of like the hunchback for it's sheer simplicity, and I do have all of my Stalker chassis mastered already.

Isn't AMS kind of useless in a fast-moving hunchie?

And if I come up against a light with ECM those streaks are useless. I'm a pretty good shot with SRM-6s, but you might be right with the AMS load-out. I'll need to give it a shot in a play-through.

well you can use it to protect others from incoming volleys, do what you want with the spare tonnage

hmm, well normally an lrm 5 and lrm 10 are exactly like an lrm 15 tonnage and crit slot wise, but remember you have artemis on, which adds 1 ton and crit space to EACH launcher, so you are adding unneeded crit and tonnage space

also lrm5s recycle faster then lrm 10s and 15s, so dps wise they are better, but you won't being firing them in sync

hows this instead? faster, max sustained dps is down because of the lrm 5s had faster recycle, but that doesn't matter 2 much in this case, also has more armor, but you can bring it back don to what you had before and add some more ammo or something, only having 2 crit slots per limb kept me from adding any more heat sinks

not much can be done with that weapon load-out, you can use er large laserz instead of ppcs to make it run cooler and faster, you would loss 2 points of alpha dmg at ranges from 90m up to 540, although past that the ers are stronger then regular ppcs, and if you aren't much of a long range fighter, you could use regular large laserz and run cooler (it will pretty much be a GOOD version of the trial stalker) took off some leg armor, but it would still take more dmg to destroy both legs then destroy the ct

er large laserz have a longer effective range then ppcs, while er ppcs have an even longer range then er large lasez, but are really hot

huh, it's tempting, but I like the non damage over time effect of PPCs more, even though I do like the heat efficiency and 310 you dropped in there. I'll def keep it in mind.

you can always drop down to regular ppcs to help keep your mech cool, er ppcs are a little to hot to be used at close range with other weapons imo

also, i believe ppcs are currently having hit detection issues, because of lag or something, idk for sure

you could also slow it down and slap in medium pulses, which deal their dmg faster and do slightly more dmg:

it is actually pretty cool if you don't fire the erppcs and the other weapons constantly, without the erpcs, the heat eff is 43%, so either use them occasionally while fighting in close, or not use them in close at all, although in thaT CASE, YOU COULD JUST SWITCH TO REGULAR PPcS

if you take the srm ammo out of the ct, you could put in a medium pulse laser in the head

I didn't even realize that Artemis adds another ton onto the weapon system. Good info right there. I think this is the build I'm gonna' try, and I'm gonna' buy that HBK as well, tho I think I'll stick with my LRM15/SRM6 set-up. See how it works.
