I mentally read this in an extremely fast 'lawyer voice'.
I have no idea why.

Temporary while they are investigating the effects... it still super seeds the splash nerf that was going to happen on the 2nd. That was the impression I got on the 21st when it was posted, and look that's the way it went down.

The hotfix post for reference: http://mwomercs.com/...erver-downtime/

This is probably temporary in the same way that most of their bug fixes are "temporary" and take months to never to be released. Temporary means permanent.

Hotfixed, yes, was somewhat hoping to have had them "fix-fixed, as in doing decent damage. Right now missiles are ...... limp. IDK about the splash side, just the basic damage needs to return to the 1 per missile LRM, 2 per missile, SRM. Never really felt either needed to do above TT damage, but sure isn't too cool doing LESS, vs double armor.

Actually right now lrms feel a little weak. Srms aren't bad, but taking a volley of lrms is no big deal.

Yes, temporary, while they "fully investigate the damage model AND focusing on the grouping of missiles"

Sounds like a job that will take more than 12 days to me.

Yeah, I wonder if their CRACK TEAM OF SLEUTHS is close to figuring out why flamers don't heat enemy mechs yet. They've been working on that one for SIX MONTHS. It took them Seven months to realize that missiles were doing upwards of 12x damage, your trust that they'll actually get this addressed isn't deserved and hasn't been earned.

Wrong. Depending on how good Highlanders turn out, it could definitely be close.

Should the Highlander be so overpowered that a single hero variant without double basics and elite skills would rule the field, then pay2win would be least of our conserns. The real conserns would be what happens when the other variants arrive and the competency of the developers.

I for one support this way of making money. Heck, I've never bought a hero mech but this one I might ;)

Do we have confirmed Highlander variants hardpoints posted anywhere? I'm kinda curious about that as I start my saving spree...

Yes, let's customize the kill music and I can begin my search for most annoying kill music ever.
"Don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart..."
or..
"Celebrate good times, Come on!"
