LRMs drop from 1.8 damage per missile to 0.7 damage per missile.
SRMs drop from 2.5 damage per missile to 1.5 damage per missile.
April 2 Removing Splash Damage....So unequip your confetti launchers.
Also April 2. Reducing Night and Heat Vision to 750 meters...So unequip those Heavy/Ammo requiring Ballistics.
Load up on Lasers and Cool Shots. Now Brawl like a "Real" Mech Warrior.
Side note ECM no longer "Require Equipment"

They had originally stated that they wanted to remove splash from missiles until they could balance them better.
Then the **** hit the fan when the Jager was released. We had a night of nothing but LRM's.
The devs then hotfixed some pretty sweeping changes for LRM's, SRM's and SSRM's. Among other things they lowered the splash damage and radius.
So if I had to guess, then no, they're not going to do this on April 2nd. The changes they wanted to make have already been made.

No, splash is likely to be removed as planned, while damage is returned to normal (probably 2 for srms and 1 for LRMs). As they stated in the hotfix post, they tried just removing splash, but then they realized that nearly all missiles (LRMs/streaks (and possibly SRM spread I guess))were hitting dead center torso and that the splash damage was actually masking that effect.
They then stated that they need to fix the spread of LRMs before they can fix the damage totals, and doing so they kept slight splash in and reduced the damage.
Am I the only person who reads these things?

We had four nights of it, haha.
Anyway, the idea that removing the night and heat vision modes is going to torpedo ballistics is hilarious.

There is no additional removal of splash damage. It has already been done.
Heat Vision probably needed to be toned down a little. You will still be able to us ballistics further than that not to mention it would have the same effect on lasers that it has on ballistics, and you don't really need to see the target to use LRMs > 750 the computer will target it.

It's not like 3Ls and Trollmandos are going to drop their missiles kid. I know my Jenner wont be loosing its missiles anytime soon.
