Running at about 15FPS, post patch. Pre-patch I was running at 30FPS. I'm running on a basic ATI Radeon 6520G on my notebook with all settings on Low. Even though I have a low spec, I don't recall seeing frame rates this weak since I started playing in early December 2012.

After the patch I started getting the yellow messed up graphics appearing in game so I updated my NVidia drivers to the latest as per the recommendation. Since doing that my FPS has dropped massively and I've gone from playing on medium/high settings to low just to keep my FPS 20-30 (before patch it was 40+). In addition graphics just seem really buggy, hard to put my finger on it but the textures flicker a lot and the laser effects seem distorted at times, rubber banding is frequent.

Annoying, was just getting into the game and now its near unplayable even on low.

Details on my hardware is below:

Windows 8 x64,
NVidia Geforce GT 555m 3GB,
Intel Core i7 2.0Ghz.

I have small fps drop 5-10 but the graphic looks more polished now. The biggest problem with me is that the game is less responsive for me now, like i have huge lagg but i don`t.

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?
    A drop of an average of 10fps on any map. Back to what the game was pre-optimization
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
    Once a brawl starts
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
    Low, didn't change
  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
    Previous 25-35
    Now 15-25
  • System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])
    old system, quadcore, NVIDIA 8800GTS

lost 5-10 fps...

AMD X4 965 @ 3.4GHz
Asrock 970 Extreme4 MB
16GB DDR3 (PC-1600) RAM
2x EVGA nVidia 550 Ti 2GB (tried newest drivers and crashed so I went back to 310.90 and it no longer crashes)

New patch sucks and it should be replaced with the previous one. Waited about 2 minutes with a blank screen before the game, people got dropped in random places around the map (those of whom hadn't already left because of delay in connection). Even I'm losing interest in the game, and I'm a long time fan of the Mechwarrior series

Pretty disappointed with this patch. Still running ultra with 60fps constant, but I'm now getting crashes every few matches in addition to the rubberbanding and teleporting from net lag. And yes, before you nag at me, I am running the 314.22 nvidia drivers, not the 311 versions.

I've got the rubber-banding and weapon delay as well. It happens every drop - pings at 40, fps still good. Doesn't "feel" like lag to me, but rather state rewind "gone wild". --- H

Myself and other members from the Au region have experianced delays in getting into games of up to 5 mins. the map wil lload then you will stare at a black screen for ages. other membwes who have dropped in wil lreport that you have connected and your name appears in the match but your mech is not there. this has taken as said up to 5 mins before the mech appears in game and you are able to participate. The time varies that you are locked out but it does occur. in about 10 drops we have had this occur to one of our members in at least 8 matches. sometimes only for a short period but often with over a min wait.

im having 4-8 minute black screen waits to join games.
initiates the startup sequence when i get in ( i just appear) has resulted in some amusing ambushes
but i would much prefer to start playing with ever one else =)

What Zomboyd has said is acurate for many players from the Ocianic region of the world. So can somon please explain why this happening to all us Ocianic region players

I can also attest to black screens of death at the start of some matches. (I am from North Queensland, Australia).

patch feedback-----garbage with no response from anyone on anything except update some driver a lot of us don't even use.

Same FPS ****. Have lags even with lowest performance options. (before patch i use low excep higest textures, environment, objects)

I dunno, some times i have havy lags, but FPS couter show 25 FPS (not so little).
And i have updated drivers - does not help.

same here... this patch... killed it for me... everything slow mo.... a shamed to be Canadian and from the same area the devs are... :-( I worked for one of the most recoignize software brands in the world and no way would we have ever released this.... omg.

Patch killed it for me, so unless something fixed ASAP... keep my 150$ + for support and Bye Bye..... stop adding crap, fix known issues, build a solid platform and stop trying to please the cry babies....

This was a FUN game until today.......... oh well it<s beta!!... but still, being in the software industry for 15+ years... a 90% fix is NOT a fix, breaking more... even worse... get your thumb out you rear (no pun intended)... and THINK....

Yes frustrated and I am sorry... but................... c'mon... after todAy's patch, it feels like an ALPHA....

said it, feel better... now to releax and... maybe try again later..... sigh.
(alternative is watching stupid TV....)
