CryEngine Error - "FRead did not read expected number of byte from file, only 128 of 0 bytes read"
Happens on getting to the main front-end UI - after login. No special procedures, just login and it happens for me every time since new patch (which took ages).

RiverCity Night, had mad lag and rubberbanding ..but thats not the issue i came to post about.
i was toggling the new NV and IR visions, with the lag it was a PITA but at some point whilst shooting MPL's LPL's and SRM's my screen suddnely sh*t the bed bassicaly... triangles and squars (large ones) eminating from the crossair orange & red and the like filled most of the screen, the 'glitch' wasnt moving it was static, it was NOT what u see from a failing GPU i will point out, i know exactly what that looks like, this was a game bug, since i immediatly tabed out and in again, and it was gone.

A Heavy Metal in my first game reported this.
A Stalker crashed (was walking in a circle) and I crashed to desktop before the match ended.
this is a fraking joke I go from 28 fps to 7 fps same setting low all expect detail is high. 2 time i have been booted from game in middle of a fight

The freeze bug is still there. It's really about time to fix that, because it's way too frequent and totally kills fun when i have to restart my machine several times a day.

This is what happened to me ... though it was idfferent colors, the geometry is the same.
tab out and in the get rid of it.
Oh forgot to add on my 1st post. Imusing Nvidia 306.97 drivers. (no im not updating cuz many of the newer version have perofmrance issues or bugs for other games.

I can login and launch; the map screen then loads showing me what map is loading, then black screen and endless nothingness...

(FYI I wasn't getting any crashes or glitches at all with the last patch)
Have found that changeing it as per your notes to Full-Windowed mode instead of Full-screen mode seems to now allow me to load maps/games.
What I have here: client freezed after the end of match, not responding at all, after killing process and restarting client - mech still in game ( impossible to select) also Q doesn't work and targets highlight - can't define where enemy's or allies.
This patch has increased my crash rate by a huge amount. Have been crashing in every single game of two that I played so far.
One was rather random, walking across the water on Forest Colony in my spider, it simply crashed without apparent reason.
The second crash was after I died, I was spectating someone and wanted to switch to someone else - that made it crash.
Both crashes were to desktop, without any error message. System is a i5 3750K, 16GB ram, Geforce GTX 670 with latest drivers, Win 7 x64.
Pretty buggy right off the bat as others have said. Played maybe 4 matches, glitches everywhere, then got a memory allocation error CTD. Uninstalling followed, and I am currently doing a fresh reinstall. This fixed similar issues the last time I had them and I will update this post with the results later.
