Hidden Patch Changes [April 2Nd] - Updated With Findings

What have you found so far?

To be clear: this thread is for stuff that got changed/added/removed in the last patch, without it being in the patch notes.

AND I DON'T MEAN BUGS! Bugs belong into the Patch Feedback Sub-Forum. If you wanna have them fixed, report them there so the devs notice them!

I filtered all the bug reports out and this is what we have found so far:

- Boxes/area to capture with are smaller
- The Laser sounds have been changed back
- The color on the selected body sections in the mechlab changed from white to golden with a stronger golden outline
- New in cockpit items added
- Targeting sound is different.
- Damage textures on mechs got updated/added
- All sound packs look updated (except Jager)
- RiverCity Building changes (Helipad at Theta point)
- Lot of gamedata changes (Icons, footsteps, hud)
- Dumptruck object was modified
- All levels were touched (shader changes, unknown changes, some minor fixes on RiverCity, lot of updates to RiverCity night)
- Miscellaneous mech animation changes for movement, landing, limping, pilot startup (cataphract, awesome, dragon)
- Looks like Frozen City got a more shallow depth of field now, but less icestorm, meaning you can look further. Looks better alltogether. Textures seem better too.
- Some ballistic weapons on Jagermech animate now. UAC/5 barrels turn when firing, AC/2s recoil.

I am unable to change the brightness and gamma sliders we have now.

Intense lag, relentless teleportation and weapons randomly jamming? I do enjoy finding the hidden surprises in patches -.-

I'm having issues getting it to work consistantly. twice it has refused to fire and a 3rd it consumed but did not fire i believe

Although I have a lot of texture flickering on every map now.

I've also had trouble getting airstrikes/arty to work consistently. It works sometimes, not other times.

I had a texture issue in game, but my patcher got interrupted.
Reinstalling, but didn't notice any other issues the single match I played.

No issues, though I've noticed my paint gets scraped whenever I take too much damage. Only found it in my Highlander yet, though that's only because the cockpit is framed by two big metal guards.

There is always one.

The post caught my eye, especially consider not all patch changes are always made public or need to be. We don't have an agreement to be told about everything.

Had a few synchronized CTD with clan mates. Bet it was a ninja ELO tweak.

Targeting sound is different. More detail added to damaged bodyparts.

And bugs. Lots of bugs.

The hit detection Ive been getting for my ER PPC is absolutely terrible. Also, my frame rate has gone down by about 7-10 FPS :P

Selected sections in the mechlab are now yellow, too

Artillery sucks horribly as well. Dropped it straight on a highlander and it did no damage...

Patch works well for me but I did just notice some texture flicker on frozen city and alpine.

I tried out air strike and artillery in the training grounds, and they were not consumed. Has it always been this way? I don't recall if I ever tested cool shot in training grounds or not.

Cool shot is also not consumed in testing grounds. It was that way when they launched it.

Consumables you use on the testing ground get consumed while in testing, but return once you are back in the mechbay.
