This is nothing short of a joke....same problems in Aus 290 ping..American team mates can play go figure..i suggest keep spamming support if this dont work spam main forums. LATEST NVIDIA DRIVERS.

The game hanging but still getting to the match indicates that something is keeping the game to "hang" there in the first place. That is a serious issue.

A similar thing has happened to me while exiting the match (prior to this patch)... I figure it may or may not be related.

Another Australian with 280-300 ping with this problem.

It's extra good when you finally get in and then immediately get a crash to desktop as well.

Can confirm, Alt Tabbing ad nauseum worked for me. Although it seems my mechs don't leave the matches for a long time after.

Been geting the black screen takes up to 6 mins for me to get into games at any time. my ping is about 230-270

Just had the crazy psychedelic / broken polygon bug pop up halfway through a match.. urgh -



Happily alt-tabbing a bunch of times also fixed this one..

Same issue here. Have the 313 drivers, downloading the 314 Nvidia drivers. Although I suspect that won't fix anything.
High ping here as well (600)
Alt-tabbing repeatedly hasn't worked for me.

UPDATE: Driver update did nothing to help the issue.

NZ here. Same black screen issue for 75% of matches joined. I also noticed that on one of the maps I did join successfully, the rest of the team had already moved out while I was still powering up. That's never happened before this patch.

Don't forget to send in your emails to support and demand your Premium time be halted/refunded while the game is unplayable!

Same issue with me here.
Updated Nvidia to 314.22 and now getting a black screen before every match.
Mech is obviously loaded into the match but I'm just not able to see or hear anything.

Alt tabbing got me 2 games not with new Highlander tho..being non american or canadian wont help expect nothing till next patch as this is not on the front page BTW ..on twitter they just announced record money from Highlander sale good aye.

I've noticed it also takes a comparatively long time to get out of the searching phase once you click launch. The map loading screen appears. Then the mechwarrior aspect of death embraces you in the blacker-than-black folds of his cloak, and gently whispers in your ear that everything will be OK as he shuffles you towards oblivion.

I've tried waiting for a game to appear, having concocted a last minute rush to save everyone victory scenario in my head, but alas, it was not to be.

Also Aussie, also black screening. Usually ~280-300 ping. Have yet to successfully get into a game and alt-tabbing doesn't seem to help.

I hope this gets fixed soon, I don't want people to think I'm one of those exp farmers always disconnecting or being afk every match...

from malaysia here. but exact same problem.....

at first i was blaming my internet since this looked like what would've happened if i had a connection with high packet loss.

but after 10-20 restarts of my router and pc. Still the same....

-no map would load no matter how long i waited at the black screen.
-Testing grounds work fine.
-no amount of alt-tabbing helped.

pretty sure its not my NVIDIA drivers since i use an ATI card and already have the latest drivers.

EDIT:

also i have seen a few other posts in the forums about latency post patch. highly probable it is related but have yet to see anyone addressing the issue.

same and same, playing from Australia (usually about 250ping), first round the drop took many minutes and the first message i saw was a player being killed in the middle of frozen city. drops since have been just as bad.

also other issues noted in other post about chat not working
