Same here, Central US. Got in at the end of the round, frozen with no HUD.

i dont beleive alt tabbing actually does anything.

this bug is just a terribly long delay before you get in and IF you get in.

so far tried alt-tabbing, running as admin still to no avail.

I am sick of game developers releasing patches that **** the game. In this day and age, such FAILURES buy developers are completely unacceptable. How is it possible to not discover such a major bug before releasing the patch. Do they not have an adequate testing prcoesses. If this is the case, then as a paying customer, I demand that the process be audited to ensure this level of screw up does not happen again.

I understand that MWO is still in beta, but this does not excuse such a mistake. If it were a closed beta and it was completely free, then the mistakes would still be frustrating and unacceptable, but noone would have the right to complain out it.
But...
I, like many other people purchased our way into the founder program. I opted to go with the Legendary pack. $120 plus the $500 ive spent on Mech Credits since then. This means that I have spend more money on MechWarrior Online than I have spent on any other single PC game in my entire life.

Simply beacuase MWO had the option to be purchased cancels out any beta excuse argument anyone can come up with. If you charge someone money to use something, it is expected that that something should at the very least be usable.
I certainly expect there to be glitches and bugs because it is a beta, however, because I am a paying customer I should expect that at the very least, the game should work. Atleast in its most basic form. Which it does not.

So that all being said hurry up and fix the ****** game. I play it alot and I am very, very impatient.

I just had this twice in a row, did not think to wait 5 minutes for the map to load. Then again, why wait 5 ? I will assume something had a cardiac arrest on the servers. Good luck and best wishes to you PGI, in tracking this down and solving it.

Sent in a support request (forgot to attach the single dump file generated), but did request Premium time be suspended.

I suspect whatever it is hits high pingers hardest. I doubt there is a North American conspiracy.

I gave up playing a few hours ago came back on to try one round got in finally and crashed to desktop as soon as i killed a jager............ so far 0-13 games being able to get in and finish without a crash, lock up, or blackscreen. and it has nothing to do with graphics cards as ive tried 3 different computers all with different cards nvidia or ati it dosnt matter, its all server side.

I now run windowed and alt-tab about 6-10 times. After doing that, it seems to come up. Doesn't come up if the match is launched normally.

Same black screen problem here, latest drivers, 200-250 ping on average. There is no point in getting upset anymore, this happens every other week...I think most of us have stockholm syndrome. No where else would a bunch of paying customers accept failure over and over again without walking away.

So, my first game is Forest Assault. First, runaway thread. Then took me near 2 mins to load. Ok... still not too terrible. Missing files mean someone screwed up, either file names, paths or not in the release package. That's bad, but a hotpatch can fix it.

Second match immediately after the first, I get Tourmaline and a long black screen. Why? Took 4 and a half minutes to load the level. WTF? Missing files again, and I think the runaway thread is related to the HUD tearing/ disco lights problem as I experienced it here (resulting in the DXInput Shutdown). Ammo Pool is interesting, Arty/ Air related?

I expect a hotpatch soonish.

In every game that has that issue, I'm seeing Jagermech files failing to load...

Someone did say in the hidden patch notes thread that all mechs but the JM6 appear to have received new soundpacks...

I'm running into issues with loading matches. Click on launch then the loading Icon starts, blank screen, then bounced back to Mech Lab with Mech "In Game". Ping times 112

Great job PGI, not even the mighty Geforce TITAN can run your game ... the same black screen - can't use the same old "update your drivers" now can you?!

It definitely did for me. The game wouldn't load until the match had ended without alt tabbing. With it I get in relatively quickly - never longer than 30 seconds so far.

It also worked for one of my friends, but not another.
