So, how much is it? If you want, you can post screenshots below or share with us the mech you had your average damage.

Hint: it is calculated by dividing total damage dealt with the number of matches in the Mech Tab of Stats.

I'm out.
The mech i played the most was my 4P, cause i wanted to master the hunchbacks.
But this was the ONE hunch where i sucked with, and it took me tons of games to finally find a decent build.
So yeah, i played like 70 games with it so far.
But with my AS7-D i played only a little more then 20 games and already did way more damage....

so: i'm out ^^

my most played mech is the ctf-1x with 1 gauss rifle, 5 medium lasers, max armor, 300 std engine, 4 tons of gauss ammo, 5 double heatsinks.
340 damage average. some amazing matches with over 1000 damage, some, where i was swarmed and killed before doing much.
business as usual.

the mech with my best k/d ratio is my spder 5d, scoring a flat 4/1 kd. just fyi.

CATAPULT CPLT-C4 150 matches 38,481damage 256 avg 11:20:24
RAVEN RVN-3L 155matches 33,544damage 216 avg 12:33:57

before anyone gives me crap about the 3L
ive use the srm 6 about 90% of the time in it.

SRM 6 1 day 03:16:30 STREAK SRM 2 4:07:08

i really have no clue how my C4 is my second highest played mech... i masterd it then never touched it again, yet i play my K2 almost daily

and that comes to about 250 for the C4 and 216 for the raven. in my defense i do alot of stupid crap sometimes lol

481 in my AWS-8R which is the mech I have played the most. The one with best damage per match is my Cat K2 with about 630dmg but not many matches so it might be down to the random variation as most have been wins.

Shame the detailed stats weren't recorded for longer, it would have been interesting to see.

It only takes a maximum of 378 points of damage to kill all 8 mechs on the enemy team, solo, regardless of their weight class or armor load. Often you will be able to wipe an entire enemy team with even less damage, since most of the time you will not be facing a group of eight 100 ton assault mechs with maxed out armor values.

If you consistently score more then 400 points of damage per match you really need to work on your aim, so that you don't spread so much damage around the enemy mech. Target the single weakest spot on the enemy mech then focus all your attacks against it.

Look at it this way : put ten rounds from an AC/20 into ten different locations and you will not kill even the lightest stock trial mech.

On the other hand, ten rounds from an AC/20 into the same location will kill any custom mech no matter how big it is.

For me, my most played mech since the new stats is my STK-5M. 2 PPC, 2 ERPPC, 5 SSRM2, 89 matches, ~502 damage/match. It could be better with more practice, too, I'm only an average shot with the PPCs at this point.

That's only with pure headshots, which is simply not realistic to expect. In a similar vein, missiles are inherently not a precision weapon, and there's no rule saying that you're not supposed to use them. Realistically, most mechs will take 50-150ish damage to core out through the CT. While it is better in the long run to kill with focused shots, overall damage output is still a worthwhile metric. Every point of damage still brings them one point closer to *something* falling off.

Illya, 528 per match. Thought it would be less, but I guess 3xUAC5 do a bit of damage after all.

Except you're obviously trolling :D it is not possible in practice to drop all 8 mechs with 400~ damage. I don't know what you would have to say about my aim, but if someone scores 1000+ dmg a match and kills 5+ mechs I'm pretty sure his aim is OK.

Edit: Now I realized that it is actually true that everyone who can't hit the enemy cockpit with every shot *needs* to work on his/her aim. Can't argue with that :o

Sure, pure headshots in not realistic to expect, but so is the entire rest of your team scoring absolutely no damage.

Just because you think something is not possible, does not mean it is not possible. I hate to break it to you but there are way better people then you at this game.

Sure. Just not as good as someone who has +5 kills and half the damage.

No, they do not. What does happen though, is as long as your team is contributing to the fight in some meaningful way, your opponents will all die before you can do 400 damage, even if you only land half your headshots.
