

Huge Number Of Hud Bugs

- mini map missing totall
- Main tactical map not displaying
- Main HUD missing
- Targeting info missing from HUD including player info overlays (pressing Q)
- launching game as spectator in my own mech. I could pilot but not reticle only mouse cursor
- some of or all of the above at the same time except spectator mode)
Additionally there is a lot more missing textures and flickering textures since the last patch

- Minimap jumps around
- Hud says "dist 1m" all the time
- The yellow markers on the tom are not cleaned after drawing, so they create a yellow bar on the hud after a while...
- Matches with 7 vs 3
Maybe the devs should fix at least SOME of the bugs before adding new stuff...

- One game with psychadelic colours everywhere
- One game where in-game Tab team/score list has duplicated section of four players (looks like enemy had 12 players!)

I was playing my commando just now and one of our heavies alpha striked me in the back, causing me to get the "critical damage" alert because he couldn't tell if I was on his team or not due to the bugs.

It's not simply a graphical issue either, since the bugs usually mirror themselves in the larger view of the map if you choose to bring it up.
Issues that occur fairly regularly ( much more commonly since around 3 weeks ago):
Map does not rotate with you, and suggests that your torso is always pointed due north. This is coupled with the compass ribbon not turning either.
Map texture is replaced with a weird rainbow "texture not found" type thing.
Map appears to be super zoomed out, with all contacts and cap points on the exact center of the map (making it useless).

The minimap staying fixed while my mech icon rotates, which is confusing to say the least
The Bars for the objectives in conquest all filled with red earlier despite my team holding at least 3 of the points
A significant FPS drop (From 40ish to <17)
All on a fully updated GeForce 635M

A broken (completely missing) HUD makes the game completely unplayable, I get that this is a beta, so I will confine my feedback to what I consider constructive. It is a matter of fact that, at least until 3rd person view is implemented, the HUD is ESSENTIAL to gameplay.
To the point: This issue could use some priority, in my opinion.
I sincerely hope you don't go down the road of so many popular games / developers, such as CCP/EvE Online, Mojang/Minecraft where they SEEM to have the philosophy of: "I'd rather make new content cause it's fun, than fix existing content because of the difficulty involved."
As far as I know, these bugs affect almost everyone I have played with or spoken to about playing mechwarrior. I'm not saying the devs have a special debug tools to get around this, I'm just saying the players don't, and nothing kills my desire to play more than my inability to do so.

I do hope that PGI is as mad about this as we are. It really ruins this weekend promo, especially since I will definitely play because I like to grind some money for later. And I bet many players will do the same. So instead of less people experiencing the bugs because they leave until its fixed (which would be natural behavior), more people will probably play, which will result in more negative feedback.
And that's the one thing the game does not need at the moment.

I changed my graphic settings in the menu. (turned all of them to medium bar Shading which is on High and Post process which is on Low) and I now have gone at least 10 matches with no major HUD bugs or frame drops etc.
Not sure if it will help the OP or anyone else, infact im not really sure why it would effect the HUD bugs at all but it seemed to, so give it a try.

I'm going to move each setting up 1 level one by one and test for 10+ matches every time to see if I find a point where it starts happening again.

I thought that was weird, so I switched it back to windowed.
three matches in a row with hud bug.
This makes a sort of sense if the hud bug has to do with corrupted memory, especially if you are running dual monitors (I am)
I would suggest that you all try this. It may not fix it, but who knows.

EDIT: I spoke too soon, Just played the Atlas K again on Tourmaline assault and lost my maps and the arm reticle wasn't working.

- Damage indicator in my mech doesn't work at all.
- Damage indicator in a spectated mech is showing invalid damage (e.g. mech is destroyed). Might have been showing my damage.
- Mech name under the damage indicator in a spectated mech was just showing a number, which kept changing. Something around 60000...
