At this point, it'd likely tick off way more people than it would appease, so... no.

nope, ive spent too long grinding cbills and xp to lose all the fruits of my labor now. It made sense to reset at the end of closed beta because PGI was giving out free cbills to test with, but not now since the game is launched already and just in open "beta".

If they do that I would instantly demand a refund as I'm not grinding again and I was told that closed beta was final wipe. I can't imagine I'm alone in feeling this way.

I would say a 1 time optional reset would be okay. For people who would want to start over and try a different method could do so. Or the others that don't want to grind again keep their stuff. So both sides would be happy.

I wouldnt mind going through it all again.

BUT, I don't see a problem if they do allow us a bank of all our earned GXP, or even a portion of it. Just because I enjoy the game does NOT mean that others who may not want to grind through again should be fully forced to.

As said though, I wouldnt mind a reset.

EDIT: to remove a rogue apostrophe......DAMMNNN YOU APOSTROPHE!!!!!

But only if you gotten your mc currency back as a true reset. I know that the MMO called Warframe is working on an optional reset to give all their paid real money in-game currency back when they released it to open Beta. But that still hasn't happened yet

No.

The wipe when we transitioned to open beta was widely announced by PGI to be the last complete wipe; everything we did in open beta would carry on through launch. To go back on that promise now would be insanity.

It would do way more harm than good at this point - people have played for half a year under the premise that what they do is permanent.

So no. No no no. Bad idea.

Only if the reset meant I was refunded all of the MC, xp, and c-bills I've used so I could redistribute all my time, money, and effort more efficiently. So, yeah, I voted hell NO!

I think lighting the servers on fire might be less destructive.

No, terrible idea. We already had the reset months ago when we went open beta (or soft launch, or whatever).

Right, I'd be okay with this given that a lot of chassis and playstyles have experienced radical changes but a start-with-nothing full wipe is a horrible, horrible idea for far too many reasons to list here.

Hey Gab, since you voted yes, do you have a bunch of MC you have purchased you wouldn't care that just disappeared? In fact, do any of the yes vote have real money purchases they want to lose in a reset?

A reset of stats and elo rating is the only thing I'd vote yes on.

The rest requires time, effort and sometimes real money. So what would be the purpose of such a reset?
