The only one I've come across is my mini map not rotating for one match. That's been there for a while.

Ask around in your games. You may be surprised at the number of people with problems.

Nope, not a single problem on my end.

They would have to roll back the game to closed beta for it to be fun and balanced again.
heh Still having fun in open beta or I would not be playing. Are you still playing? If so you must be having fun too. Bugs aside and yes I got the bugs from last patch too.

I appreciate you're angry, but understand that, 'I'm having HUD problems' isn't a light-switch fix. There's no magical button, or line of code, that will 'fix' it. If we could fix it quickly, why wouldn't we? What possible scenario would have us cackling in glee as our game had an error?
As soon as we can, we will hotfix or patch the issue out.
Canadians DO NOT cackle.

same tbh not had any game breaking issues since the start of closed beta, just the odd mini map not working etc but that's like 1 in 20 and even then it isn't THAT bad

Edit: phone post issues.

Great!
So since they are making money. Founders, Premium Time, Paint, Camo, Bobbleheads, Banners, Hero Mechs, ETC ...
Will we get clans tomorrow or do we get the bugs fixed?
Neither? WTF?
Looks like your ven diagram is broken when it comes to MWO.

I've even spent a few dollars to help support these guys for their hard work and effort, plus i can see a few bugs being worked into the game such as HUD or MAP disruption... just my opinion .Thanks and thats all i have to say about that.

They make a PC Computer product. Because they are quite conservative and strive for compatibility, they must test on a lot of different platforms.
Some platforms:
- Windows XP 32bit
- Windows Vista 32 and 64bit
- Windows 7 32 and 64bit
- Windows 8 32 and 64 bit
- .Net 3.5
- .Net 3.5 SP1
- .Net 4.0
- .Net 4.5
Now replace the word "they" with whatever software Dev you care to. It is not Rocket Science, but pretty darn close.

Unfortunately, like many things in real life, coding doesn't work like that. With the introduction of the new hero mech alone, it would be impossible to simply "roll back" to an old patch version. If you don't understand why or think there's an easy workaround, then you really, really have no more business trying to tell a coding professional how they should do their job then you should try to tell a surgeon how to do theirs. Discussing how you think QA was handled (or mishandled) is one thing, but don't try to act like you know how a developer should fix it unless you somehow have an idea about how the project code is structured and have working knowledge of best coding practices.

So the game has to be funded. The money has to come from somewhere. Of course they are 'making money'. If they didn't there wouldn't be a game. Just because some of your tax money goes towards your countries space program doesn't mean you have a private colony on Mars.
The game is being developed. It takes time. I'd bet cash money that the HUD bug is as much a memory leak as anything else - inconsistent, tends to get worse the longer I've been playing, etc. That's not going to have an easy fix. If it was you wouldn't have memory leaks in every piece of software ever developed.
Bug fixing and content creation are two different groups of people. Saying that the people creating art assets and modeling mechs have to just stop working until the code and test folks tracking down bugs get a particular issue fixed isn't just pointless it's terrible business.
Ideally you don't want anyone idle. It's entirely possible that the art assets, modeling, animation and even balancing of a half dozen mechs is already done. They're just staggering the release date. This has NOTHING WHAT SO EVER to do with hud bugs, server issues, 3PV or the price of pork bellies.

I thought I pointed out in my original post that I did believe that it was the hero being in the patch that made them not want to roll the patch back.
Which may be why I asked the PGI separate real patches from making money.
I want the game to be good.
I want PGI to make money.
I want them to make better decisions.

The WWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, no map, and rainbow map have been around since the closed beta, and textureless/shadowless buildings on Frozen City have been around for months.
And more recently, though I'm not sure if it's a bug or just a silly design choice with the draw distance, River City has buildings that don't actually load their models from a distance, Alpine seemingly randomly decides if you get to see mechs in the distance this particular match(sometimes you'll get to see mechs out to 2km or whatever, sometimes PPC's just materialize out of thin air 1000m~ away)
I barely play this game but I've more or less quit having expectations and resigned myself to being a spectator
