i have to agree.
The 1:1 Timeline claim with this news = Epic Fail. I've been let down time after time after time with this game only to have a few things surface to try and keep me interested. The only reason I keep playing is because The Fifth Battle Cluster, Clan Jade Falcon and Smoke Jaguar have been outstanding players to drop with and the social aspect has me hooked. Being a die hard clanner also since Mechwarrior 2, not being able to participate as the clans did in the invasion is a major heartbreak. I was seriously looking forward to dropping in my Mad Dog/Timberwolf into the middle of an IS fight only to take them completely by surprise and mop the floor with some free birth scum.
I paid good money for this game and as stated above have just been slapped in the face too much. I understand that set backs happen, delays in development occur. But seriously. If you, as the development team, are setting down concrete deadlines and telling your player base, "This is what we will have, at this time and you can expect it" and then not come through is not just a kick in the guts, it's a kick in the nuts and eventually the fail will be too much for a lot of people to just swallow because it's a cool mech game. As a founder who put money into your pockets, I expected to see better than this.

No, they haven't, because the devs have clearly stated clans are:
Coming after Community Warfare
Correct me if I'm wrong - coming within 6 months after release (September).

We won't be seeing any Clan stuff until November next year when the invasion starts up again. Expecting it any sooner then that is just setting yourself up for a big letdown.

I don’t understand the worry about how to “balance” the clans. War is never balanced. To try to balance the Clans and Inner Sphere is ridiculous. The Inner Sphere’s strength came from numbers, having the home field advantage, ComStar, and seasoned veterans/commanders that knew how to conduct warfare. And the Inner Sphere had some tech (like the C3) that the clans didn’t and would never think about using. I only hope that they plan to add more depth to the game.
