Mathew has informed me he cannot duplicate the issue, and thus has passed it onto the QA team.

Matthew Craig can't duplicate the ghosting issue? I thought it happened to everyone?

*shrugs* I see it all the time :)

Lastnight I decided to hunt for image ghosting while using the minimum video settings, as I have been told by some that the issue is not apparent at high frame rates. So by removing the framerate cap I use (60fps) I proceeded to look for image ghosting.

It is just as noticeable at very high framerates. (140+)

The building stand was a tribute to this poor Tabletop Treb.

Those mechs look great, especially the TBT and the blue quickdraw.

How do you handle filtering the smoke. What exactly do you do to give it density, and also minimize how it clouds up the picture.

Truth be told that's not damage smoke but overheat smoke. (Overheat smoke is lighter grey and very thin). I stuff heatsinks near all my weapons to crit-buffer them, which also creates that effect.

Damage smoke is much worse. The dark, almost black smoke around the Timber Wolf we killed is damage smoke (and thankfully disjointed like that 'cause it did a cartwheel! Woot! Cartwheel Madcat!)

Btw if you're on, jump on the Zhizhu TS. We could use a fourth lancemate.

I do not do anything. I just sift through the screenshots I take and pick what I consider to be the best.

Last images for the evening.

More Quickdraws.

I'd love to join. I'm at my parents' place visiting for a while, and internet here is not friendly. It keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes or so.

Most of the thread has Catapults and Cataphracts; we even had a Yen Yang special of black/white and white/black Muromets. It might have been a bit some Catapults got featured, but there was a lot of really good ones from those on the first page to the ROFLPULT series of fully tricked out multi-launcher and heavily painted Catapults.

Roflpults.

Jenners have been done but not for a while. And Commandos have only been 'done' once. (Among the best shots on the thread even). I'll see about making sure mine are ready.

Last night, in addition to some Megamek fun, we tried some one on ones.

Dire Wolf versus Atlas.

Been running a 9xCERPPC DWF today. Has been quite hilarious for a joke build, the damage ranges between 100 and 500 for the most part.

However, the real fun is the suicide alpha. It's. just. GLORIOUS!

Next on my list is a 9xFlamer DWF. I know. definitely a bad set up, but where's the fun in not doing it?

Pack in two Ultra twenties and not not as suicidal as one might think.
