Lastnight I decided to hunt for image ghosting while using the minimum video settings, as I have been told by some that the issue is not apparent at high frame rates. So by removing the framerate cap I use (60fps) I proceeded to look for image ghosting.
It is just as noticeable at very high framerates. (140+)
The building stand was a tribute to this poor Tabletop Treb.

During Round 8, 1 minute and 10 seconds to 1 minute and 20 seconds into the match, Koniving tries to land onto a building to use it to spot an enemy force.
The building collapses and the mech falls through 3 levels of height (9 meters). The building crashing around it.
Note that a mech is never taller than 14 meters and a Trebuchet is about 11 meters [it is in lore a very tall medium mech so it can fire its LRMs over hills and small buildings].
Just moments after this occurred, an enemy Stormcrow is spotted overlooking the Trebuchet. The Kintaro immediately comes out of hiding to provide support while the Trebuchet while the pilot recovers enough to attempt to stand.
Truth be told that's not damage smoke but overheat smoke. (Overheat smoke is lighter grey and very thin). I stuff heatsinks near all my weapons to crit-buffer them, which also creates that effect.
Damage smoke is much worse. The dark, almost black smoke around the Timber Wolf we killed is damage smoke (and thankfully disjointed like that 'cause it did a cartwheel! Woot! Cartwheel Madcat!)

Most of the thread has Catapults and Cataphracts; we even had a Yen Yang special of black/white and white/black Muromets. It might have been a bit some Catapults got featured, but there was a lot of really good ones from those on the first page to the ROFLPULT series of fully tricked out multi-launcher and heavily painted Catapults.
Jenners have been done but not for a while. And Commandos have only been 'done' once. (Among the best shots on the thread even). I'll see about making sure mine are ready.
