Lol, the InnerSphere deserves it's own version of the Mad Cat.

The previous is my favorite because I'm partial to the K2, but this one is still amazingly good. While the other pictures with trees show nothing but evergreens, they show different kinds of evergreens, with different shades of green. The above may be the only one, but it shows deciduous trees, and they're quite impressive!

This art is like what I see in my head when I visualize battlemechs.
Not to slight the developers...I'm sure they're hard at work...but maybe they could look at these images for some inspiration.
These images have excellent color, lighting, and shading. They aren't just nice because of the blue sky or the green trees, but also the contrast between the them. The trees even have different shades of green, just like in real life.
They're great examples to show that "color" =/= "color filter".
I've seen a monochromatic place in real life. One was in the Middle East, and another was Afghanistan. I didn't care to be there, and don't care to go back.
I don't care for a video game to use monochromatic environments so much, especially when I think it has so much potential.

The "exotic" environments have their place, but If we're using graphics as a selling point, and if we're the least bit concerned about suspension of disbelief, we also need maps and images that show the mechs in environments that remind one of something one has seen.

If this art didn't look so much like the countryside where I live, it might still remind me of the scenery on Port Arthur in MechCommander. ;)

Are you done moving yet?!? :)

I've been wondering "How long before Baabaa tries a picture with a C1 and a K2?" and "Will he use that scenery with the deciduous trees again?"

I thought that scene looked a lot like a golf course, and it would amuse me to see stompy-robot footprints on it.

I like your regimental nickname. Coincidentally, I had redesigned the Crockett/Katana specifically for Rasalhague and dubbed it "Einherjar"

One day, it occurred to me how "einherjar" might look to those who think "harass" is one word...

After seeing your pics I think Piranha missed the mark on scaling of Mech to Mech to environment. I think it would have been much more like the TT and a tactical type of a game with your scaling. Great job.
